Maybe we should all setup accounts to automatically "donate" 1 cent per month. The banking fees for each transaction would cost the WTBTS more than they'd get resulting in a net negative effect.
Imagine: if millions of us did this, for only 12 cents per person, per year, we could cause the WTBTS to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars each month. (Of course the money would end up in the coffers of the various credit card companies and banks we all use, but it might be worth it).

in this letter if i'm understanding it correctly the elders are being instructed to send most of any information on hand about child abuse in their congregation to headquarters and any thing else they have at home or in their personal possession to destroy it.
this seams to be the most obvious case of wt telling their elders to destroy information.

Ok, you can't make this shit up. An anonymous person--using the pseudonym, Crazyguy, on an internet forum-- posts some controversial claim without out any evidence, no links, nothing; and a no-doubt-well-intentioned person asks if it's "been confirmed as authentic."

Fair enough. I suppose because the question of life's origin is the one that really hinges on whether or not there is a creator. The issue of organic, biological evolution per se, and the questions concerning it, do not necessarily threaten or contradict belief in creation by a divine being.
As you observed Cofty, there are scientists--mainstream evolutionary biologists even--that are also Christians. (I don't happen to be one of them.)

Cofty: Which is outrageously anti-scientific. It is literally impossible for evolution to happen that fast and contradicts everything we know about the history of life on earth.
Well of course it is unscientific. But that is what many people believe nonetheless. I'm reporting, not supporting. (For the record and the sake of context, I am one nanometre shy of complete atheism.)
