  I appreciate your balance, and thanks for the good and kind words.

  Regarding your question: “how much leaven will you tolerate in a loaf before you decide it is no longer acceptable?” I have this to say: Leaven is sin, and the cause JWs stand for is something like a precious metal diamond over which leaven has no effect. That cause is this: Man has ruined (not ruled) his inner world, outer world and system of things which calls for a reaction from the God Almighty.

  In this core belief, they have not erred, and will not err. If at all they have erred, it’s all in supplementary teachings which are too insignificant to shake the very core teaching.

  Equal pay has its potential. (Unto the Last, written by Ruskin). Point is not about how small the number of bethelites. JWs showed it practical. If it is practical for them, then it is practical for the world also, if it wants!

  There are certain things I do not agree with, but I still accept them (though I do not approve them). I wait on Jehovah. When you are with a group, you have to accept certain things which you do not approve just you do with your life-partner.

  That’s a valid point I agree with you. Yet here things are bit different. They fought for the freedom of expression with regard to the spreading of good news which has its source in the Almighty. Mere human rulers cannot bring restriction on it. When the owner of the wall writes on it “stick no bills,” observers cannot question him asking: “Then why do you do the very thing you say should not be done by others?”

  You have a point that can strengthen my analogy. When children are choosing to stay with mother and consider the dad as one who has gone astray, dad is wasting time monitoring his ex-wife.

  All such things are exceptions. In a garden, it is natural that some weed would also come up. But this should prevent us from benefiting from the garden.

  I will not run away. For me your disagreement is just disagreement which I will not take personally. I have no attachment to any particular view. I will stick to JW in so far as they have more good points than bad (which means I am not fanatical about them). If this reversed, then I will have my option.

  With careless ease you dismissed all the good points, which are in fact, really good points. This is the benefit of being a JW. We have the guts to call a spade spade. You would notice from my post that I am still able to discriminate between the good and the bad in JWs.

  Anyone can have disagreement, that ‘s natural. But when you allow it to take a monstrous form of blind enmity, spilling venom in all directions, unable to see any good points in a group—doesn’t that tell you that you have to restore your balance you lost somewhere along the way?
