12Attempt to get congregation records under Privacy Act, need info
by jwfacts inlast week i sent a letter to the the australian bethel requesting my congregation records as follows: .
please supply me with all information held by the watchtower bible & tract society of new york, inc. and all related organisations in regards to me, as per my rights under the privacy act 1988. this includes, but is not limited to information held by the watchtower bible & tract society of australia, inc., and the xxx congregation of jehovahs witnesses.

How many here used to attend meetings un prepared?
by JH inon sundays, i hardly ever read my watchtower.
i would take 2 minutes to underline here and there just to look good.
if i wanted to make a comment at the watchtower study , i'd read 1 or 2 paragraphs and answer the question related to those paragraphs, that's it.

As the "Perfect witnesses" we always studied the material beforehand!
I always made sure the kids had an answer for the meeting too!..
What good little witnesses we were...

Hubby's home!
by MsMcDucket inmy husband is back home.
his hemoglobin is at 11. i will have to keep monitoring his stools for blood, and he will have to go back in for lab draws for blood counts.
but, he's doing well; and he's happy to be home.. thanks again to everyone for your kind thoughts and messages!.

Wish me luck!!! Starting my own business...

When I was a witness there was a brother that got laid off or fired unsure what..anyway he decided to start his own business.He sent away for a repair kit for car interiors..leather...fabric..etc. Well he started going to all the car dealers and sell his work.He did free samples.. He practiced repairing and mixinf colors and hired another brother to help him. Eventually his business grew and grew...he had a huge house built . When his sons got older he trained them. Now he just sits back and collects the profits!
In the beginning I thought...aw too much competition for it to go anywhere..but he did it!He gave free samples of his work to the dealers they then hired him to do some work!
He eventually gave the house to the kids (Grown up now) and had another house built in another state up east somewhere for him and his wife..
Here in Mo. we don't have too many that do what you are doing. Do you know how to work with insurance deductables and dealing with insurance companies?
You may have to wait to get paid in some cases unless you only work for instant payment which could slow down your growth.

Funny thing happened..I knew a teenage witness ..his Mom was a witness..he had an appendix burst and they said he need blood..his Mom and he both refused..(He was a minor)..so they went to Texas..(JW DR) and had it done with no blood..
A short time later he was swimming with other witnesses in a river with bad currents and he drowned...
Was that his reward for "Faithfullness?"
Ironic wasn't it.

I don't and won't have a dog or any animal....too much trouble!...
My daughter has 2 dogs if I get the urge to kiss one..which isn't often...
Now concerning Dog loyalty...I feel like an animal is only loyal to whomever feeds them...if the master goes away..they may brood for a while..but they come around and love the new person that feeds them!
Say what you want..I really believe that...no matter what Lassie and Old yeller say...
I have had animals before..Had dogs..cats..snakes.(Boa constrictors).parrots.(several).spiders..mice..parakeets...
I have better things to do with my time than worry about an animal..I can love em and leave em...
