  JW feeling persecuted yet (California)

  california, after failing to ban all religious gatherings (failed in court) has now banned all singing and chanting in religious places, including if you are on a live stream and the only person around.. i haven't heard a peep yet from the jw.borg about how to handle this new 'persecution' on religion, the only thing that came up with a search was this: .

  Food Boxes given out by Society

  anyone else get a food box delivered by local congregation to your door - allegedly by the society?

  weird.

  i looked online and found a couple of youtube channels saying the society is taking food from food banks and giving it only to their congregations.

  I had a mini JC or a start of one in my own home when three Eldubs visit me. But lucky I had in adjoining room my legal counsel looking over another matter an over heard their interrogation. She stepped in and educated them on my legal rights and asked "who the hell are you"? They decided to leave quickly andi Never seen them return

  My poor Dad was an MS and was working up to being an elder. But as anyone can say it is a good old boy's club and they kept moving the goal post on my Dad but using him like a dish. He had a bag like that, but he was never choosen into the club no matter how hard he worked. More an likely he was not giving them green handshakes.

  Inconsistencies is the Preachng Work

  with the shutdown of the public preaching work.

  some take it to mean all preaching in all forms.

  other take it to mean it only includes door to door and cart witnessing, but you can do phone witnessing.. what is interesting is that depending which country you live in the direction that was given what to do is different.. two countries (malta and ireland) that i know of were told explicitly not to do phone witnessing.

  What brotherly love they can display by doing something for me. That gives me plan if they return to door to door work after covid.
