As a young man I was in the Ministry School for awhile. But quit after some of the elder's sons getting or handing off their parts on me. Just did not see the point of the school if all we where doing was slinging Watchtowers and Awakes.

Knowing it is all made up by a publication/real estate empire hiding behind a cult. I am very free knowing that this is what they are about. Tax free money , and wealth for some higher ups from the backs of slaves. The sh#t has hit the fan. I'm not going to be one of their slaves.

Learning to do public speaking is the only useful part of the ministry school. I wanted to go to college for a career program, but stupid elders talked and boo-hooed to my parents to make me sling Watchtowers. Guess Watchtower gets more metal washers in the contribution box, I can't afford much, just these washers. Lol

A 'typical JW' story
by joey jojo ini am friends with an elderly 'worldly' woman, who was unaware i am an ex-jw.
she employs a jw husband and wife pioneer couple for odd jobs around her house- mowing, cleaning etc.
the couple has been working for her and her recently deceased husband for years.. just before the 2019 international convention, despite the fact that the husband was fighting his last battle with illness, the couple kept asking him to attend the convention with them.

Changed From "Disfellowshipped" to "No Longer One of Jehovah's Witnesses!
by Atlantis ina friend is trying to figure out the approximate date or letter, which indicated a change from the wording of public announcements.. they changed from saying the person has been disfellowshipped to saying that a person was no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.. i thought it was around the time of the bulgaria scandal.. could you help us out to remember when this change took place?
if we could remember the approximate year, we could look up all the boe's for that year and might find the letter.. many thanks!.

"No longer a Jw" sounds good to me. Did not want to be one when I was forced to be one growing up.
