I was living at home with parents and the convention$ week came. I could not get the time off so I ended up losing that high paying job. Then, hearing that bullshit experience at the convention only run more salt into the wound. Such a loving, understanding group!?!

Did You Feel Special Because You Were An Elder or Friend or Family Of?
by minimus infor many families, they received the golden ticket once a family member became an elder.
the glory and admiration of being an elder seeped right thru to all the elder’s connections.
if you got into some trouble, having an elder friend or relative could give you the stay out of jail card.

My family was well to do, unfortunately there was alot of elders and others wanting something from my dad. Talk about "green handshakes " where common in our Kingdumb Hall. If you had the means you got appointed or pretty much your way.

example is how at new york the brothers handed out bottles of water.

Overrated
Seems I made my monthly quota when out in field circus a close friend and I would find a public trash bin. We sure not really knocked on any doors but made our hours. Bible studies where trips to our favorite eateries. You can say we worked the system to our benefit.
