  First Contact with ET's would put Watchtower into shock. And any other group as well. The followers would be some in denial or shock.

  I don't see Jw.org going on the side of any launched space vehicle. But then again, it would not surprise me either if they pay to paint it on. Hopefully, any extra life forms would look at Watchtower and see it for what it is an laugh them away.

  Why it takes a long time to bring a religious cult down.

  i think the first thing to consider is that it takes a while for humans to wake up to the truth.

  this is not just a jw thing.

  around 1600 ad, galileo challenged the catholic church's long held view that the earth was the center of our universe.

  As A Born In, I learned that "The Truth" is a oxymoron made up by interwoven lies and just downright bull. And gullible people will mope this up for this greedy Real Estate Corporation that is behind a religion for tax purposes. No longer gets my support or even my respect. And I long for the day it falls!

  Overrated

  We all can predict, but who knows what the future holds for Watchtower? After all more is going out then coming in, so how can there be any real growth? And what the GB is putting out is getting more crazy. People are worn out by Watchtower lies. People vote with their feet.

  Overrated

  I predict that they will sell off Khalls but keep convention halls for that is a money maker. The zoom letter writing preaching work will continue at a laughable pace. Numbers of new ones coming in will never be what it was. More young ones will drop out. It will just be a social thing for some. It all will be Jw TV/online that is pay to watch. And Donation will be asked for. Congregation meets will be zoom units. Not sure if they will continue the elder arrangement. Maybe?

  so why is their new mega-studio with the hollywood-sounding name "jw studios" an llc, or limited liability company?

  Now what? I can really see Watchtower selling of all the Kingdumb halls and leaving the convention halls they have(big money maker) and going 100% online /TV. They still can take in dollars with less troubles.

  i saw an other thread about what the wt says who or what gog is.. my speculation is based on the following:.

  in the end un will get the power for a short while, as taught in the wt literature.

  this is based on revelation 17:12-14: "the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast.

  Overrated

  Two things I learned growing up as a JW.

  1) Watchtower, anything JW related is a big waste of time, money and energy.

  2) Watchtower is a Con. It cons people out of time and especially money for their ever growing real estate portfolio. Nothing they print or teach is worth anything! Just make empty promises to people just to make a profit.
