The concept of not pursuing higher education to be self sufficient seems insulting to anyone's intelligence. Why would you not help yourself? The only reason Watchtower does not like education is it trains you to think critically. Once you start to think, you start to question. They hate that.

I was living back home with my parents and working p/t working to go to college for a higher paying position in the company. A " brother" who got me the job cried to the elders like alittle bitch that I was missing meetings and field circus. Yet, there is a two local needs parts at the meets directed personality at me to work and support my family and attend meetings and field circus. This just bullshit! The elders went to my dad and bitched to him. My dad gave gave me an ultimatum to quit going to college and go to meetings or move out. I told my dad how ridiculous it was and said I'll move out within a month which I did. Since then, he as called me to " return to Gee-hober " and move back in. He misses that rent money. I don't return his calls, he can have the members of his cong help him. Screw them all!

Should young children peddle Watchtower Society literature?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inone thing i always disliked about the watchtower society is how they use young children tp peddle their literature.
my mom insisted that my brother (12 years old) and i (9 years old) go out in field service every saturday morning.
didn't matter if it was 90 degrees or 20 degrees, we were out peddling watchtower magazines.

When I was "forced" to hand out Watchtower crap. I would find trash cans or dumpsters very handy. And still looked good on my reports. My studies I had were a joke too. I would talk them out of out and so them how ridiculous it all is. On our RV's we would go to lunch or drinks.

i've asked a couple of jws to explain the overlapping generation and they directed me to the website jw------org.. either they don't know, or they do know but don't want to discuss it because they know it's bogus and embarrassing.. either way, surely they must know that this just extended the last days another 80 years from the time fred franz died.

JW healthcare
by jhine ingiven that us healthcare isn't free at point of contact and people have to pay for insurance, which can be expensive and is often linked to employment how do jws get on ?
if they are encouraged to take low paid or part time jobs so l assume don't get good healthcare insurance from their jobs .
how do they cope with medical bills?
