first of all, this is my first post here on the forums even though i have been registered now for some time.
i have been faded from the jehovah's witness religion for many years now, but only recently within the past year or so gotten quite serious about it - crisis of conscience by ramond franz really kicked things off for me personally.. anyway, my wife, parents, step-sister and her husband and my half-brother are all still active jw's, so i am still exposed to them, and this is also the reason why i'm still "faded".
frankly i'd probably just as soon disassociate myself without the threat of being shunned.

A feeling that I personally had is that the GB, as other religious leaders, were somehow connected with the secret agenda of the lobby of this world so they could anticipate some stuffs as they already know the plan behind.
But then I asked myself, how is possibly to predict so much wrong date?!🤣
Anyway agree with AA, so far UN was much more to their side than against!

it is in regards to the motive of governing body members.

this link had to do with the experience that was given by a young witness pioneer in the phillipines convention and her take was on return to jehovah .. an old time friend from the past sent me this link a couple of weeks ago trying to encourage me to come back to the religion and asked me what i thought of it ?.
i said i would if she could reply to my 2 questions first fair enough ?
so far i haven`t heard back from her and i will let you know if and when i do.. the 2 questions i asked her was to do with jehovah`s name and the christian greek scriptures ,especially the ki publication the wt brought out ,the word for word greek to english that didn`t have an equivalent greek word for jehovah .. and the other one was to do with the charge that was given to christians ,followers of jc to witness about jesus with over 20 such scriptures and not one saying anything about being a witness for jehovah anywhere in the nt.. over the years she has always still kept in touch, a little bit eccentric and we had a lot to do with her family and mine back in the day when we were all believers .. .and she is not backward in coming forward about having a go at the elders who she doesn`t agree with .. at the time i looked at the link and have posted somewhere else about it on this forum and mentioned i didn`t see anything about "returning to jehovah" in it .. anyway this was a few weeks ago and i was still waiting to hear from her..today we got mail from her ,,slow mail ,even though we have each others e-mail address .and in the envelope was only the wt "return to jehovah " and inside a $50 note.?.

hi one of my jw parents died recently of old age , after decades of brainwashing of the dead are just a sleep and if we are good we would see them again in paradise .. i fully understand now you have one life and should make the best of it but finding it difficult at the moment to get my head around it .. it's just a bit of a rant but your the only ones that i can try and express how i feel and be able to understand after the years of brainwashing how it affects my thinking process.. thanks for any help and advice..

Thx Giordano for the good reminder! Indeed in the first phase of my path I was rude against elders and family and I saw this didn't bring good result. that's why I changed the way I'm dealing with this problem, as well the fact that I grew emotionally(...especially reading forum as this one).

i still have several jw friends on social media.
It is easy when you are JW, you can blame always the government whatever is the party, as they are part of the Satan's world, and take no responsibility for the actual state of their country.
Said that, for me sound akward this action, if it happen in my congo for sure the elder will reach him, they catch brothers for even less important stuffs :(

Thx for the warm welcome! Not so much to say about the Covid, the lockdown hopefully is at end for the 4th may and more open shops the 18th may. But let see....economically it is a disaster at country level...personally I'm employed and I'm fine for now.
Regarding the JW life as PIMO it wasn't never so good!!! Meeting only via zoom, no preaching in the field...
Anyway I'm PIMO since several years now, but as in my family all are too much brainwashed, and no hope so far to wake up, I need to continue to live somehow the JW life...my goal is to try to wake up some of them. In the meantime I said to myself: why don't enjoy what is good in JW? So I focus in the relationship with people around in the congregation, and try to help them. This gave me a lot of relief in this situation and make me happy.
This help me also in recognize some patterns that lead people to be blind regarding the TTATT.
I hope is near the JW Armageddon...I mean for them as organization :)...but I'm not confident, that's why I will continue to fight to wake up friends and family.
