If Your JW Relative Needed Blood, Would You Force It On Them?
by minimus indue to the fact that most of us do not feel that it is scripturally wrong to take blood, if your relative was told that they needed a transfusion and you could see that they get it, even if it's against their wishes, would you force blood into them??

believe it or not this is a tough question to answer. I think of my mother, as she is the only JW immediate family member that I have. I know that she is vehemently opposed to taking blood, that she is more than capable of ripping an IV out of her veins if she had to and if it came to that. But what if she is in a situation where she is unconsious, or otherwise incapable of making such an important decision on her own? what should I do?
I certainly dont want her to die for the WTS. But if I were to force the blood on her while she was unconscious and she finds out the thought alone of having violated her so-called "bible trained conscious" might kill her, at least emotionally. What kind of mother would I have then? One who would spend the remaining years of her life feeling like an unforgiveable sinner? One who probably would never be able to talk to me ever again for violating her expressed wishes? I couldn't do that to her. My mother already spends days and nights berating herself because my brother and I left "the truth" and therefore she must be a lousy mother and christian, not worthy of God's (read: WTS's) love. Forcing a blood transfusion on her would just kill her, I know it.

Is it "seems" because the WTS/FDS/GB who patterns itself after Moses doesn’t want anyone to think they are capable of failing to show mildness and receive a similar punishment from God?
oooooh now that has got to hurt! Dont we already know it, that the FDS is perfect, that they don't ever make mistakes, and if they do they dont admit it? Dont we know that the are gods sole channel of communication here on Earth? To disobey the FDS means to disobey god?

I like Corona w/lime. anyone ever try Pisco sour? it's a very good cocktail made at peruvian restaurants. I believe its made with egg whites, sugar, lime juice, triple sec, a shot of tequila and obviously Pisco (a typical Chilean/Peruvian spirit)
other than that I like sex on the beach, cosmopolitans, apple martinis and kamikazes. I only go out with "the girls" to drink at most 2 or 3 times a year. I have yet to experience being drunk, but I wouldn't want to. with the way my hubby handles, or rather non-handles liqour, well, I think you all get my point It not something I would want to look forward to on a weekly basis.

book-servant at the kingdom hall would be pretty bad, but ministerial lawn servant is probably worse.. outside the society, probably my worst job was waitering.
i have a very short short-term memory, although this is more than made up for by my ltm, which means i made a really sh*te waiter, let me tell you.

I have never tried barracuda but I would like to, I love all fish and most seafood. Ever try shark fin soup? delicious!
barracudas are attraced by shiny objects, so if you ever go swimming in the Florida keys be careful not to jump in the water with jewelry on! those fish have very sharp teeth

i always thought this was ridiculous, and that if anyone suffered from anything, men suffered from womb envy.. tim has challenged me to ask women; i don't know if he's teasing or not, but he says i will absolutely find women have penis envy.

number 1 priority was to find the local kingdom hall!
