In the US I find the news media very bias for either republican or democrat which is natural I try to listen to both to try and get a more accurate picture of what is going on. The Mueller Report being discussed in congress is great I like listen to both sides R&D I figure nobody has a monopoly on truth. I think these are exciting times for a Republic Democracy to see the whole investigative process take place, hopefully no serious harm to the country. I think there should be some refinements in the system as well. It's a time to try one's soul and learn a little more about personal rights and whatnot.

Do You For The Most Part Trust The News Media?
by minimus inthe media is very powerful.
many news people just want to get a scoop even if their breaking story isn’t checked out for accuracy.
some journalists are precise and double check whatever they are reporting.

Those that need to see a Therapist / and those that don`t is there a correlation of the two ?
by smiddy3 inthere have been a number of threads / posts here over the years about ex jw`s needing to see therapists for what they are going through , and i can appreciate that.. obviously there are many ex jw`s on here that haven`t ever felt the need to see a therapist ,and i`m just wondering why not ?.
why does one feel the need and another does not ?.
is it to do with born ins as against those who were converts ?

Also when one finds a good therapist that really gets down deep into our real nature a transference happens and ones analysis becomes a god and sometimes some good old fashion sex happens but hey then and then they might not, any who...when you share your deeper inner most feelings with someone you form a pretty strong bond, kind of like guru worship by his devotees. Sit at the masters feet if you will and that is something I can do without at the moment but if I met a real nice therapist I might reconsider.

iwant out,
I am struggling with more or less the fallout of ALL of it, a giant vacuum, with the biggest challenge is Lack of Motivation to well anything. In mourning (for my lost life) really I guess. (after 50 years of DONT WORK DONT PROSPER, just hang out and study and walk around the neighborhood, cuz thats the BEST THING you can do. Well its hard to get out of 1st gear.
I KNOW all the things that a therapist or a mentor, or a life coach, would say, but putting them in practice is something totally different.
So not sure what spending tons of money I dont have to talk to someone would do for me. You know what I am saying?
When you are dealing with core issues the natural drive to stop,, comes into play,, I would suggest to keep going into the discovery of your true self the road is bumpy and ruff but the results are what you are after. Wholeness which is something we have when we were first born but lose it through are struggles to navigate up to say age forty five ish and then we start to come to a point where we need to find meaning off what these years mean and that is the natural drive towards wholeness in later life and it's goes on hopefully till the deeper you go the better you will die happier at least that is my beleif.

I know right now this might not fly, I'm hoping for a more enlighten society in the future to find a way to get rid of these annoying parasites, and just testing the waters so to speak.

I'd say yes get a good one that can help you develop mentally and in the right direction, take free association test to find out what is perkulating in the unconscious and resolve the issues and become more whole.
I choose to study self analyst hoping that I can do it without some one else, i'm self motivated and aware of the pit falls.

He was to show the indignities we are subject to in order to make us shunned so that we can't blow the whistle and warn those we care about and to get them to stop obey them because they are harmful.
I think this video will spear head a wave of lawsuits if he goes to court that puts common decency above religion of freedom claimed right to dominate over its members to their emotional and mental harm. New religions are cropping up every where this is a chance for government to step in and limit their harmful use by predators in the economic system.
The video clearly show malice and a very blatant unconcern for member's. A judge allowing this a evidence of the malice involved is what I'm hoping.

Laws continue to change as we go deeper and deeper into the information age. For years many institutions that are charitable like the catholic church have committed crimes that they easily got away with but increase in knowledge and information brought about accountability to these untouchables and I'm guessing this too will happen for us who have been harmed by the malicious behavior of this printing corporation.

Listening to the self serving information coming forth from the WT corporation 5 hour a week for 52 weeks a year not to mention circuit assemblies and conventions x how many years you were in the Twoof. I think this repeated indoctrination in things that take away the locus of control from your self and give it to them has got to effect mental growth in the negative direction and I would advise where possible seek a good analyst to get to the core of your being, I have not done so but,I continue to do use the internet, library, to sort of be my own analyst and some other practices to try to become more whole or together. Also more important is what is going on in the unconscious part of our total self, and how this will effect us as we age. A lot of counterproductive ways of dealing with life's problems have been implanted and it takes time and effort to make the beneficial productive ways replace these implanted drives.
