  Flying to Orlando tomorrow, my daughter is in the hospital

  my daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia, and possibly a blood clot in her lung.

  they'll be testing through the night...apparently, her heart is enlarged as well.

  she is scared... and if her jw father catches wind of it, he will be there trying to intefere with her treatment... he lives close by to her, so i'll be flying down in the morning....to head him off at the pass.

  The Writing Department's use of "Exclamation Points". Anybody else find their use cheesy? Or motivating possibly?

  something i've been meaning to ask for a while since coming here, is wsup with the writing department's use of exclamation points?

  i'm no literature buff or anything, but to me personally, the exclamation points cheapen whatever they're trying to get across.

  here's some examples from the new jeremiah book.. how thankful we can be for the teaching done by christian shepherds!.

  At least the writers in Writing are restrained from using ALL CAPS TO TRY AND MAKE THINGS EXCITING FOR THE SHEEPLES!

  I find ,and did find in my years "in", VERY annoying! The writing AND the overuse of exclamation points !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  But I think the WT should have used more exclamation points in this one :

  he just stepped down as an elder recently to work on his family life.

  You posted this BEFORE we were informed that Ted had passed on. So don't feel bad at all.

  And that does not change one bit his answer. For that was his answer WHEN HE WAS WELL ENOUGH TO SPEAK AT WT CONVENTIONS AND ACCEPT AT LEAST 5 MINUTE OVATIONS from the followers of the WT at the WT conventions.

  Whether he changed his mind about the privacy laws in Britain and how those laws had anything to do with the list of pedophiles WORLDWIDE the WTS INC. OF NY,USA kept private from even authorities WORLDWIDE, we'll never know.

  "How do you justify the list of pedophiles the Watchtower has and never informs authorites"?

  Well folks, there you have it.

  i've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.

  i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.

  you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".
