I'm done with it. Every season is the same old redundant story. Nothing ever changes. They find a cool place to live for a while, then it gets ruined and they have to leave. After that they run into/get captured by a group of miscreants and have to fight their way out of the situation. A key player dies...wash, rinse, repeat. Same shit, different season. Blah.

Conversation with JW mom on this years memorial date and Nissan 14 discrepancy.

she completely goes into cult mode.. me: why is the memorial on march 23rd this year and not april 22nd/23rd when the corresponding nissan 14 commences?
since when did the organization stop following the jewish calendar for passover?.

I used to drive a Nissan 14. It was a great service car. 4-door, great on gas, no stereo so there was no way any satanic rock music could be listened to while in the field ministry. There was absolutely no embellishments or flashy decorations whatsoever. A drab, dull car is a spiritual car. -

Do you still believe in God?

i might superstitiously have some kind of doubt but digging a bit deeper in my heart i really don't believe in god.
as a human i could never just sit and watch people be tortured, live years of abuse, suffer from illness and disabilities and all the other awful things people have to endure day after day without doing something about it.
