Do You Know Your Blood Type?
by RAYZORBLADE inwith all the information we have nowadays, out of sheer curiousity, do any of you know your blood type?
for some, i know the blood-issue is a touchy subject, but it's interesting to know it.
you'd be surprised especially when the case of an rh-negative mother may give birth to an rh-positive child.

O neg here ... who would have thought we were so popular? Actually I'm surprised how many of us are out there!
Scully, is there some breakdown of what population percentages are each of the various types? I imagine the breakdown is different for different parts of the world, i.e. Asians are more likely to be B type, etc.

Jacqueline,
Very interesting to read your story. Question for you. You said honesty is a big part of your marriage. But you also indicated you had to stop writing before getting caught (your husband was at the table with you)? Are you going to tell your husband about your visiting this web site?
I'm not asking in a negative way, but there have been lots of other posts about honesty and relationships, etc., and I found myself wondering how your situation will play out.

Would You Kiss A Smoker?
by Englishman injust wondering!.
i remember when i was about 16 having a snog with a girl who smoked.
it really was like sticking your tongue into an old ash tray.

I think I would have a really hard time having a relationship with someone who smokes. I have family who died horrible deaths from cancer, and I am unable to escape the mental imagery everytime I see someone light up. But there are other things as well that would also cause me not to want to date someone.
This being said, I truly sympathize with those who are trying to quit smoking. Friends tell me it is the most addictive thing ever, and truly a torturous experience trying to quit.

Anyone Here Lost Their Inheritance To The WT?
by Englishman ini have.. i hadn't even realised it until i had a conversation with my brother last summer.
our dad was a proffesional man who could command a good income whilst he worked.
trouble is, that he would listen to all the 1975 "end of the system" nonesense and then become motivated to serve where the need was great.

I am personally seeing many of the parents of the friends I grew up with in the Truth suffering financially in their older age as they made no preparations. They never expected the "system would last this long."
My own mother no longer feels so negative about my having started investing in my 401k when I was 21 years old. Nor any longer do I hear anything about the importance of "relying on Jehovah instead of yourself" to survive. This is quite a big change, because before it was a sign of a lack of faith in Jehovah to be taking these steps that I have.

France is a "Pain in the Ass"
by JH ini changed my topic to this:.
why does france always go against britain and us policies?
should we still consider france as an ally?
-

France has plenty of direct experience with terrorism. I am grateful that at least some countries around the world see through Bush's pure BS - everyone knows he's eager to go to war to divert attention from his dismal performance on the home front (i.e. economy, joblessness, etc.). Furthermore, the inspection team needs to be allowed adequate time to do their job, and we need to at least allow Saddam the opportunity to go into exile as the Arabs are trying to pursuade him.
War is not something that should not be rushed into by any means.
