  as with anyone associated with jehovahs witnesses the worst possible news anyone can have is being df.

  I agree - it was very well done!!!

  It was powerful to see all three shaking their heads at the same time when disagreeing with the official WT statement that all reports are to be investiaged and that no one is to be discouraged from going to the authorities.

  I'm in Informations Technology. But this is a typical mortgage amount for Southern California where the AVERAGE home goes for over $310,000. The true cost is probably closer to $1600/month when you factor in the tax writeoff benefit. Wanna trade places? :) I was in Chicago a few months ago - nice place!

  when individuals leave the organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that god is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.

  when people leave another christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.

  when a christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.

  I too got a chuckle out of your $450 rent "horror" story. Those of us that live in Southern California would give anything to have rent that cheap. My mortgage is over $2500/month!

  How do you explain the population growth? If we have all had past lives, then I would think the population on earth would be stable over time. But the fact is that it's growing. So all these new people, where do they come from if they have no past lives.

  I'm not knocking reincarnation ... I would love to believe there is more to life (tm), but not sure how to reconcile it.

  could someone please post the km schedule for the service meetings in august and september.

  as well as what the watchtower study articles are going to be about for the next few sundays.. i have someone who is interested in going to a meeting to 'observe' the control techniques used and we want it to be a meeting where topics about disfellowhipping, child abuse, or the like will be discussed.. i do appreciate your help.. kismet
