for the PIMO question as to A. Morris
by enoughisenough inhave the rank and file been told not to "gossip", or "question" about mr morris yet?
i am mindful of how questioning decisions was discouraged and being told to keep things confidential.
( maybe too soon, but do share if a special needs part comes up) you would think that common sense would tell them they cause the questions when they don't share reasons.

I told my elderly JW parents the news of the announcement.
They became instantly belligerent, asking me where I had got my information - what source, when etc.
They went into a hard-line defensive mode insisting I was wrong and had got my incorrect news from an incorrect apostate source until I showed them the info on the official JW news site.
Then they became aloof and feigned disinterest - how strange, unbelieving, defensive and brainwashed so many lifelong JW's are - even close family members....

It has been pointed out that the governing bodies talks often seemed to contradict each other.
Maybe now will usher in an era of bland monotonous company men who do not refer to the smell of burning flesh, talk about their wartime experiences and do not light any matches during their keynote addresses...

Parting Letter
by Konagirl ina friend of mine was compelled to reach out to as many members as possible in her congregation, by sending them the following letter that i would like to share.. to my brothers and sisters,.
i’m sure you’ve realised by now that something isn’t quite right with me as i haven’t been around in months.
the truth is i have been going through a crisis and the last few months have been the hardest time of my life.

My parents aggressively told me that my problem was that I put too much store in the creator and the bible when the watchtower should come first!!!🤷♂️

As a Witness , you feel like you have all the answers, and have the meaning of life handed to you, Then , you wake-up from that dreamy haze, or nightmare, and realize it was an illusion. And on your own to figure out what is true and real, and find your own meaning of life.
How very true that is!!👍

Pioneer Hours Update
by Bartolomeo inregular pioneers: 600 per year, 50 on average per month.auxiliary pioneers: 30 hours per monthauxiliary pioneers in march and april: fee reduced to 15 hours.

I busted a gut to pioneer when it was 1000 hours a year 90 hours a month.
I regular auxiliary pioneered - 60 hrs a month for six months to build up a routine/schedule.
The CO and other regular pioneers looked down on me as a lowly regular auxiliary pioneer until I was made a regular pioneer and then accepted by them.
Then I looked down on the auxiliary pioneers!!!
What a mug I was..🤦♂️

The MACALLAN immortality hope!
by BoogerMan inif you drink macallan whisky, at armageddon you will become righteous immediately, a son of god, brother of christ, an immortal king/priest, and to cap it all, help all the un-righteous minions on earth grow to perfection gradually over the next 12,000 months.
no such 'growing' needed for macallan drinkers!

Hour Requirement for Regular Pioneers
by iloowy.goowy inelders to meet with meet with regular pioneers asap and review their progress.
announcement.
december 12, 2022. for elders.

When I pioneered the hour requirement was 90hrs a month.
I don't know what it is now?
When I left they expected appointed men to be doing at least 10hrs a month.
I think in the economic climate they should make the regular pioneer requirement 40hrs a month and 20 for auxiliary's - then anyone spiritual with economic responsibilities might have a chance of achieving a reasonable work/life/theocratic balance.
Do I think they will ever acknowledge reality from their gilded bethel tower and make these changes to the hour requirements?
No, I don't think they ever will...

Am I being unreasonable in this ?
by smiddy3 inhi friend`s ,i have my son and dil living with us ,which has been ok,overall ,quite a few years now ,however ,a few months ago they decided they wanted a dog ok ?
we had one a toy poodle for about 16-17 years and i just loved her as did my wife.. a few months ago my son wanted a dog and got a french bulldog as a pup ,which was ok by us .. however to cut a long story short, yesterday i was out in the back yard and the dog lunged at me and started attacking me in such a way as i can only describe as being frenetic in his attack ,in trying to ward off his attack and getting away from him i fell over and i believe if my son hadn`t finlly restrained him he would have mauled me .
i am 83 years old and my wife has just turned 80. and i dont want that to happen to her .. i don`t know the dog is what 4-5-6 months old i`m not sure , and been living with us all this time ,however i`m going to tell them to get that dog out of my house by the week and and a half or i will one way or another .. i am not going to tolerate that in my household and if he don`t like it he can go also .. i`m not being unreasonable am i ?

I am so sorry to hear this.
You are quite within your rights to be concerned and have immediate action taken in my humble opinion.
