  so my wife ran into a elder i new 10 years ago and invites him to dinner!!!!!

  he arives and gives me a bear hug...love bombing!

  i just read this.

  don’t know if anybody here has seen the video.. the intended result of this is to obviously scare ‘faders’ out of the shadows.

  now, they are being threatened with loss of association with their loved ones and friends.

  I noticed one of my old halls is now a 7th Day Adventist Church - the inside is EXACTLY the same, 2nd school, chairs, everything!!

  Remember Hour Quotas?

  In the 1980's I worked 11am to 4pm every day and regular auxiliary pioneered - 60 hrs a month.

  I started my ministry at 6am, doing street work to try and get my hours in before work.

  I got no praise, thanks or recognition with those awkward hours.

  Instead, EVERYONE quizzed me aggressively about why I wasn't a REGULAR pioneer doing 90 hrs a month!!

  Back then, you could NEVER do enough.

  Now, I very rarely, if ever see any local witnesses near me on the ministry, or even setting up any jw carts any more!

  Bible Reading Schedule, Dumbed Down?

  has any body noticed that the bible reading schedule has been reduced to one chapter per week.

  does any one know if this is a policy change or something temporary?

  at this rate the complete cycle will take 22 years plus..

  Would be interested to see a random watchtower study paragraph from each decade up to date to see how simplistic/childlike the 'study' articles have really become!

  I remember when young being perplexed about so many of those articles. Many well over 20 paragraphs long!
