i was raised in it.

there were questions, but the psychological abuse prevented me from ever really getting answers.

i am naturally a logical thinker in spite of my decades of indoctrination, and my brain just never could get passed things that were glaringly huge issues.

evening all.. during today's midweek bore-athon my mind was wandering as usual, and i was doing some (oh the horror!

) thinking.. nothing screams 'cult' more to me than dubs calling each other brother.. "that was an excellent talk tonight brother anderson".. "brother jones, we really need to go in service together again soon".. is it just me using people's first name.. "hi john how's it going?

During today's midweek bore-athon my mind was wandering as usual, and I was doing some (oh the horror!) thinking.

"Brother Jones, we really need to go in service together again soon".

Is it just me using people's first name.. "Hi John how's it going? Did you watch the match yesterday?", or did you guys and gals also have some sort of normality in your greetings and dealings?

Is anyone here guilty of the 'Brother' treatment?

Was wondering if it actually happened in congregations or was just something in those vomit-inducing videos.

then it goes right into the jws, and he reads the quote from millions now living will never die about how we can 'confidently expect' the resurrection in 1925, and then the life everlasting book that predicted 1975. of course, he doesn't say how it's still going on, namely with the overlapping generation and its' accompanying convoluted chart, but still, this is more than they've ever said on the subject, especially recently.. it almost sounds like a forced statement, to address any backlash from people reading 'apostate lies' online, because he also says how the gb 'humbly' admitted mistakes, referencing the non-apology after 1975 that disturbed raymond franz.

"i would of done this..........or he would of tried to change things".

it's would've - short for would have!.

Like a couple have said already, starting construction in 2022 and finishing in 2026, in 7 years!

How on earth can they be taken seriously about living in the last seconds of the last minutes of the last days of the last... etc etc. That the big A is imminent and it's so close that we're making plans for at least seven years into the future.

And after the big A? Will there be a need for videos and media? Which factories will be producing the computers and cameras and the bottles of Scotch needed for said structures?

Honestly, I'm trying to comprehend the complete bollocks of it all but I'm struggling.
