All of Lisa's faults! (And all of yours, too!)

well i got the impression from teejay that i can come across as supercilious; that i don't think i have any faults.

so for the sake of posterity, i am herewithin listing all of my faults (that i know about, lol).i frequently don't explain my thoughts thoroughly; i'm in a rush and just try to write down what i'm thinking at the moment.

this leads to unclear reasoning when others read my words; on more than one occasion, i'll admit.i'm too quick with the sarcasm.

I like the fact that its not just about faults but ends with a positive note on our talents/qualities as well.

Here goes for me

Faults:

1. Brutally honest and sometimes completely lacking of tact

2. Sarcastic at inappropiate times

3. Never think before I speak (working very hard on this one)

4. I tried hard but I end up starting lots of projects/hobbies that I forget about finishing

5. I do crazy things and end up embarassing those I am with

6. I never forget when I'm wronged

7. I have a hard time trusting people

8. I analyze things too much

9. I try to hard to make people like me (just being myself is a very hard thing sometime)

Qualities:

1. I'm honest

2. I have a graet sense of humor and can laugh at myself when things don't go the way I want them to.

3. I'm a great friend. Very loyal and trustworthy

4. I am very warm-hearted

5. I am dependable. If I say I'll do something or promise something you can be suer that I will come through.

6. I'm easy to get along with

7. I'm very forgiving

8. I will bend over backwards (and have given the shirt off my back even) for someone in need

9. I'm a good listener (as long as Im not distracted by anything )

10. I always have a smile on my face

im talking 'bout sweating & freezing......parched & soaked...what do like or dislike about the weather in your area...... whats the worst & best time of year and why..... do you like or dislike where you live and why as pertaining to hot/cold/dry/wet...... i personally dislike the heat where i live (good ol sw fl)....but from dec-feb we have very nice weather.

i can deal with rain but not the excessive humidity that we have here year round.

i obviously don't want to live here forever and would like the scoop for when i make my great escape..... help please...thanks.

Hmm..ok so TX is off the list....I have thought of upstate NY...my sis who lives there says that its pretty nice and I know she didnt like FL either.

I thought parts of Canada were pretty nice and I culd deal with snow as long as it didnt last forever. What part of Canada are you in JH? I dont think I would want the summers though if it is anything like FL summers.....I can take heat but not the humidity...

Anyone else...surely you all have some kind of opinion of where you live....give it up.

Id say it was pretty accurate for the most part.

How many here were thrown outa the house @ a young age by jw parents?

Lets see when I was 17.....my father gave me the choice...I could go to meetings or get out and work at my part time job.....

I left that night...then of coarse I was accused of being a runaway and was caught when I went to work

I stayed with my boss/good friend for the week after with parental permission and then forced to go back home.

Then there was the time that I came home late from my boyfriends and they locked me out and when I picked the lock (after banging on the door for 40 minutes unknowing that they were watching me the entire time) my father forcibly threatened to have me arrested for breaking and entering. Gotta love that tough love over a teen that even called to say she was going to be late

Glad things have changed since then. Glad Im stronger and they care less (or at least appear to) about me being a dub.

would you share any general feedback about the cities you live in?

like economy, crime rate, housing, ect.

Sw Florida here.....

Depending on where you live on the county housing and crime will vary. We have our bad neighborhoods and we have some very nice ones as well. Housing costs obviously flow in accordance with the degree of crime in each part. But you can still get some great deals in decent neighborhoods. Its fairly relaxed around here (then again this is FL ). I would say that employment is fairly good (depending on your skills but I know of certain places that are always hiring). The economy is up in the air along with the rest of the country due to the war but I don't think its that bad on average (of coarse I'm sure there are those that would disagree).

The only downfall that I see is that during the summer it is usually unbearably hot and humid.

OK...under the assumption that everyone here has been honest and also adding one year to those that posted on this thread last year I have our "official" statistics.

We had 148 post their age with a grand total of 5829.

That would give us an average of 39.385.....

0-20yrs - 3 posters

Why can't you give your opinions of the topic--the war-- without attacking or applying motivation to others who disagree? Don't undermine your own credibility by the totally inappropriate personal comments.
I have read all posts on this painful thread and it saddens me. I am against this war. This does not make me anti-American. I support our troops 100%. I love America. I hate war, especially this one. That does not make me anti-American. I don't care much for George W. Bush. This does not make me Anti-American. I respect those who disagree with me. I do not respect when they tell me what I am because I don't agree with them.

Wow.....angelkins...you hit exactly how I feel. I wish we weren't at war but that doesn't mean that I don't want ALL our men (and women) back home and safe. I think George Bush is right in the middle of a big ole pissing contest and it makes me mad because there will much death due to it. War never helps anyone (well except afterwards maybe our economy but at the high cost of human lives its far too expensive IMO) Kudos to you Robyn - I hope all is well with you...give me a call when you get a chance.
