  an iranian murderer is to be executed by being thrown off a cliff in a sack.. an iranian newspaper says if the man from the north-western city of mashhad survives, he will be hanged.. the carpenter was convicted of raping and killing his 16-year-old nephew.. the daily express says his nephew worked as an assistant at his shop.. the man has 20 days to appeal against his sentence.

  "Ode of the Mentally Disturbed"

  Challenge me!

  O' perfectly harmonized one

  with your blessed soul

  that is in one piece;

  I shall rise to the occasion-

  I'll throw on my

  fluffy animal slippers

  and ruffly housecoat

  thats peppered with

  teddy-bears;

  Now that my attire

  is comfortable,

  I come to you

  with my unstable mind

  jumbled with forgotten images,

  that are actually the

  important ones,

  And throw them at you

  one by one in

  my disfuntional manner

  so that you in turn

  shall become confused

  as to my purpose

  and my attempt

  which I myself dont know

  if indeed I have one-

  Or many,

  and you shall see

  the foggy haze

  in which I live

  and you will

  understand less

  about what I do

  and how;

  but understand

  why it is

  my brain cannot

  enter your world.

  Challenge me!

  I dare you

  for I myself

  when you were a jw, remember those little things that made you happy on the inside but "sad" on the outside.

  for example, the meeting ending early or better yet, being cancelled.

  i recall a few years back the society was pushing sunday field service.

  takes me back to time changes----I would always hope that my parents messed up on setting their clocks ahead that way we would miss the first hour....unfortunately it never happened that I can recall.

  after being indoctrinated against talking to apostates for years, it is scarey to suddenly start talking on the internet.

  but it does help to talk with others who have had the same experiences of the wt society - otherwise you end up thinking you are the only one finding a problem with it.. don't be intimidated by your local elders - they are just as indoctrinated as the rest, and probably have secret fears themselves about the organisation.. i was brought up as a jw for 20 years, was baptised.

  i left 18 months ago - i now feel happier than i have ever done - i can think for myself, make decisions for myself.
