  i've just been reading a post about elders, and how the 'belief system' is the blame.

  talk about an extension of jwism.. "but the woman you gave me".. each and every jw that told lies at someone's door, actually "told lies at someone's door".

  What lies are you talking about?

  As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I would like to say that I do not lie at the doors. I teach what the Bible teaches. I follow what Jesus taught his disciples to do, and that is make other disciples.

  I do not know of any Witnesses that get up in the morning and say "let's go lie to these people". To the contrary, their motivation is in saving lives. We are not out to destroy others faith, as opposers do, but to build peoples faith in Jehovah God and his wonderful promises. His promises are not lies for God cannot lie.

  Excuse me if I sound like I'm preaching to you, but it angers me that all Witnesses are smeared by opposers insinuating that they lie to people. That is simply not true.

  I do not consider myself a fool for waiting on Jehovah. Jesus waited on Jehovah, why should I be different that my savior. Jesus did have the power to take care of all his accusers and those that assassinated him, but he waited on Jehovah. Really you should not minimize my faith or the faith of any other Witnesses because we wait on Jehovah. I consider that Jehovah as my heavenly father is much wiser that I am and he will handle matters with his wisdom and justice. Faith in Jehovah is what keeps me calm and in control of my emotions.

  The answer is yes. If the organization went in a contrary way of Jehovah's will, then I know he would not look upon them in favor. For example, if they ever accept traditions of men and teach lies like the Trinity, Hell Fire, that we have an immortal soul, then I would certainly see that as a sign. In the end, we have to have faithful to Jehovah and his word.

  larc: I have read the many threads on pedophilia. The Watchtower is not twisting information. They have a right to a defense. In this case opposers of the organization are manipulating and encouraging these vulnerable victims into blaming the Organization for the actions of their abusers.

  That only helps me prove to myself that Satan is behind the opposers and using them to do his dirty work. It's very easy to generalize things and blame everyone for what some individual perverts have done to these children.

  why are you on this website at all.

  I will certainly answer your question. I am here for my own personal reasons, one of them being that I can see ahead of time how Satan is organizing opposers against Jehovah and his representatives here on earth. In a war, it's very important how your enemies manipulate information and resources in order launch attacks against you. This way I am prepared for Satan's attacks.

  Doesn't the Bible speak about the "temporary enjoyment" of sin? Being honest about who we really are/were is O.K. Only then can we move to a healthier ( or if you prefer, more righteous) way of life

  This is satanic reasoning at its best. I must caution you that Jehovah will not take this twisting of his words lightly. There is no excuse to sin against our heavenly Father.

  Very Bad News Re: Post Yesterday

  i'm not sure how to put this news gently to the community here, but regarding my post yesterday regarding chantelle.. thankyou for all of your kind messages and warmth displayed on your parts.. chantelle was only 16 when disfellowshipped.

  only 18 years old with her whole life in front of her.

  she took her own life this morning at 0400hrs.. i am so sorry not to have been in a better position to get your letters to her in time.. take care all of you & kindest regards.

  I can not believe a parent can be pushed to this by a stupid, heartless religion.

  I doubt you will find a publication instructing these parents to tear their daughters pictures. Of course I don't know and nobody in this forum knows exactly what happened between the parents and their daughter.

  It is sad that this girl decided to kill herself, but there must be more to this story that is not beind told here.

  All opposers here automatically assume that it's becase she was disfellowshipped and she was shunned, but really no one knows what was on her mind those minutes before killing herself. I do have faith in Jehovah God and his ability to read minds and hearts. We will have to wait 'till the resurrection to see what really happened, the question is will any of you opposers be there? It's only up to you.

  It really amazes me how you opposers to Jehovah's Witnesses are still so interested in our publications. It almost seems like you can't live without knowing the scoop inside the organization.

  Many people, like myself, once belonged to other religions before becoming Witnesses. I could care less what my previous religion does or publishes.

  The part I found interesting was the item on the Nov 4th 13min item about youths not joining in extra curricular activities or sports. I do hope someone is going to counsel the Williams sisters about this.

  Playing organized sports is not a sin. As always, you opposers misunderstand the material, or should I say you turn things around just to criticize. The Faithful and Discreet Class gives counsel. In this case it is wise counsel, as there could be some sprititual dangers in playing organized sports. Whether the Williams sisters follow the counsel or not is up to them. Of course by their actions the show their lack of appreciation towards spiritual matters, but that's another story.

  Swordfish, what makes me so sick about you and other witnesses, is the fact that you all think that anyone other than yourself are righteous people.

  And last to all. The scriptures are clear on how Jehovah views sex and how Satan has manipulated this world into thinking that his laws are too rigid. Unfortunately, since you search now for any excuse to criticize Witnesses, you don't realize that in some things you are speaking against Jehovah's rightous laws. Fornication and Adultery are just one example.

  First, I don't consider myself a religious freak, just a servant of Jehovah. His commandments are not out of this world and they are not hard to follow. As for your accusation, I don't know where you get your information and why you would stoop so low as to say that all servants of Jehovah have molested or raped 6 year olds.

  Of course, I understand your anger and that you are greatly exagerating for impact. But realize that Jehovah also hates child molestation and abuse. He is not blind to what is happening. I know that your faith in him is not strong enough to simply accept "wait on Jehovah", so see that really is the problem, your lack of faith. Unfortunately for you, in the near future many will face the same consequences as child abusers when Jehovah comes to cleanse this horrible world full of child abusers, fonicators, adulterers, killers, etc...
