Could this be the rise of the King of the North? We don't know, but it's getting interesting...

Staying Awake Or Keeping In A Frenzy?
by AlanF inwe ex-jws know very well how much the watchtower society put us under pressure to believe that "armageddon is just around the corner".
they've been doing it in one form or another ever since charles taze russell began publishing his nonsense.
in 1877 he advocated that true christians should believe that christ would "take them home" in 1878. when that didn't happen he moved the event up to 1881. after that he focused on 1914.. the society is still doing pretty much the same thing, building up expectations and then revising them, decade after decade.

AlanF you are really insane dude!
I asked you if "You were ready?" and then you have the audacity of saying "Yes" when you had previously said that you don't even believe the Bible. Pure hypocrisy there. When I was writing my original post to this thread, I predicted to myself exactly how you would answer and you didn't disappoint. As I read your past posts, I can see you love repeating the same dribble over and over, then you pat yourself in the back saying "no one can refute me". You are not a humble person and your own posts in the past demonstrates that so you will never accept anything a JW says not even if Jesus himself came down and explained it to you. I know you don't care what I say or anyone else, you are full of yourself to worry about anything else. The sad part is that since no human being can convince you of the validity of the Bible as being the word of God, you force him to take action against you and all wicked ones around the earth, and he will. I would quote the Bible, but you know it all. :(

Do you people live in LALA land? Of course JWs take-in donations, it's expensive now days to publish the amount of literature they do in so many languages for the purpose of educating people in God's way. The reminders during assemblys is to cover the cost of that assembly not to send in loads of cash. Take people's estates is not a scam, hon, it's what many JWs desire. The information in the brochure is available only if publishers ask for it, that's why you can't order it through the literature desk, or did you not know that? The only way to get the brochure is if you ask the elders for it. Think before repeating the same apostate dribble about money and scams.

Las Ketchup is SATAN WORSHIP

I believe the guy that originally said that The Ketchup Song was Satanic is some evangelical priest from Honduras. The way he translates that song is just plain stupid and this is what I explain to my JW brothers. That story came out on the spanish channel here in the US and it spread like wild fire.

Should jws disfellowship those who committ incest
by badboy in.
?.
i understand from a philadelphia trumpet article (december 2002 p.24)that nimrud was married 2 his own mother, celebrated his birthday on december 25,rebelled against godetc etc.. also the pharoahs, the herodian family as well as the hitler family (all evil men)practised incest.. in view of the pagan/cruel rulers connections, should someone who practise incest b disfellowed from the congregation?.
-
SwordOfJah
Not according to the wisdom of apostates since disfellowshipping is mean and unloving. Think about that...
-
SwordOfJah
This is typical apostate bullshit (excuse my french). In so many threads apostates bitch about elders being mean. In this case, the elders were showing mercy to this hypocrite and she is congratulated. The thing here, shytears, is that you can trick any human being, you can never trick Jehovah for he reads your heart and deceptive ways. I'd rather face the discipline of elders that Jehovah's anger in Harmageddon.
LDH: I guess the difference is they saw through your acting. Instead of seeing the wisdom in discipline you now cry like a baby. Wake up and find Jehovah again, dear.

How do I tell my family I'm no longer a JW?
by YellowLab inthis subject has bothered me for 5 years now.. eventually the day will come where i'll need to tell my folks i'm no longer a jw.
my oldest son (who is 3) is getting to the age where he talks about everything from birthday cakes to christmas trees.
we were able to get away with birthdays and holidays so far, but now is becoming increasingly difficult to stop him from talking about them when the family's around.. should i write a letter?

I say don't be a coward and disassociate yourself. Quit deceaving your JW family. Get on with your life and let them go on with theirs, of course theirs will be much long that yours. All those living double lives are just kidding themselves. Gal. 6:7 tells you why.

You have a serious problem AlanF. Since you lost your sense of urgency a long time ago, you have no hope and you don't want anyone else to have hope. So you are desperately using your time on this forum and maybe your life in destroying peoples faith in the words of Christ. Please notice that you are using your wicked reasoning when reading that article instead of getting the point. You try to find exact phrases and words in the Bible that the Watchtower writer uses, of course you don't find them so you assume that Jesus didn't mean this and didn't mean that. But what is the point? The point is that Jesus spoke of being ready. Are you ready? Of course not since you parrot the same thing over and over, there is no sign, there is no sign. Obviously, by your insane reasonings, God has not found you deserving of understanding his ways. That's why you're confused and are so desperate to find fault in his faithful servants that are keeping up the watch.

Normally I would suggest that you try and get your relatives up to speed on the JW pedophile scandal, which is significantly larger in scope and more insidious, then that of the Catholic Church.
You are a fool if you truly believe this or wicked, one of the two.
Love, unaccompanied by a signed check doesnt pay Pattersons bills.Your insinuations here are distasteful. You know very well that JWs are not after peoples money, but to teach them how to know Jehovah better and have a chance at salvation. You are so blinded that you will just parrot apostate stupidity about JWs trying to get into peoples pockets. Shame on you.
