on thursday of this week world wide work money will again be spent to protect a pedophile.

in addition it will also be spent to pay money to a disfellowshipped person in order to find a way to prevent them from assisting the court case of abuse survivors.

I believe the case going on now is a civil suit against the elders and Watchtower Society.

Let me get this straight. The Watchtower was sued and Bill Bowen is criticizing them for using their resources to defend themselves? Is he stupid or something? The Watchtower IS NOT choosing to use the money, they're being FORCED to use the money to defend themselves in court. I am one that donates regularly to the World Wide Work and I would expect the Watchtower to defend themselves and not make some disgruntled Witness rich with our donations!

the papers could have been filed by someone trying to defame the wt.

i know they are not as clean as they want us to belive, but this is just to much.

This information is odd to me. I was thinking that if someone donated shares of a company to me, I would immediately sell these shares to get the actual value of these. If the Watchtower actually owned these shares, wouldn't they just sell these off to use the money? Why keep shares of a company, these wouldn't be of any use, specially in the preaching work?

I do trade a few stocks here and there, but I don't really know how this "donation of shares" works. Has this been explored?

Well Uzzah I'll tell you a secret,

I heard first hand from my cousin that heard it first hand from his best friend that knew the sister of the brother of the best friend of an elder that used to be a Bethelite that was told by another Bethelite that heard it from a Bethel elder that he heard another Bethelite in the next cublicle talk on the phone to his mom telling her that he couldn't believe what his roomate had told him about the Bethelite in Walkill that said that a Bethelite in Patterson had been kicked out for no reason at all.

This is a fact!

Here is a true story!

About two years ago, no three, no hold it I think it was like five years ago, anyways, five years ago, well it wasn't five, I can't really recall. There was this elder, maybe he was an MS at the time, no hold it,I know, it was a regular pioneer, not a guy but a girl. Yeah she looked at me funny in one meeting. I will never forget that look. All JWs are the same!

given that your wts has frequently warned its members to stay away from the internet, and that bad association spoils useful habits, why is it that you persist in posting on this site, which is quite obviously populated by those that are disfelloshipped, disassociated, or, at the very least, spiritually weak?

if you lived near one of the more vocal posters would you willingly be seen by your body of elders having a conversation with them?

or, is it the ease of anonymity that allows you to be such a hypocrite and flaunt the rules of the organisation you pathetically claim to follow?

I will not post on this thread again. It seems that it has become impossible to discuss JW related topics. Childish posters only write insults in order to scare me away. This because I refuse to follow like a robot their confused logic. I am really sorry because many of you are very genuine in your heart. I do think you might be confused because I don't see the ugly things you see in the Organization. I'm sorry that we can't have a good conversation were we can reason and come to an accord. I wish you the best. I know not all of you are apostates, although you might have been labeled that way because of your association. Jehovah does care for you and all of us. He WILL make things right. Don't look at it from your imperfect limited human eyes, but look at things from Jehovah's perfect eyes.

Avoid name-calling, and stick to the original subject.

Are you kidding me? Open your eyes, see the hate in many of the posts toward me. Half of the posters are only trying to shut me up and you dare say that I don't stick with the original subject. I have had some good conversations with some of the posters, I only keep answering to those that show respect and dignity and I try to do the same to them.

Mr. Seven, You really crack me up. You call me a hypocrite so that no one will pay attention to the words I speak. You try to belittle my knowledge to discredit anything I say. This way, no matter what I answer to the questions on this thread, people like you will keep saying "hypocrite" , "you shouldn't be here" etc. This is proof that you are evil, am I being judgemental, heck yeah! You are evil, because you post to discredit me, instead of allowing other posters to think things through. You are only mad because Jehovah has sifted you out of his Organization. You can call me whatever name you want. It does not matter to me as you show by your words what is in your heart.

the public talk was on "loyalty"- ...speaker gave examples of loyalty in bible times...i.e: esau and jacob...esau sold his birthright for a bowl of stew...not loyal of him.

david was loyal, even though he "erred" when he messed around with bathsheba, then plotted to murder her husband.

we need to be loyal.
