spiritual paradise
spiritual estate
reading another thread made me realise that there are numerous expressions used as everyday witness terminology, that is not in the bible.... such as:.
governing body.
paradise earth.
spiritual paradise
spiritual estate
in reading these posts, it sounds like a lot of you are very jealous of the wt.
society’s annual income and the money they/we have in the bank.
jehovah has indeed blessed us.
I missed being entertained by Deacon. He can now report 3 hours field service and pat himself on the back for bravely surviving fellowship with apostates. I hope he comes back to learn some more of the truth or finds his way to jwfacts.com.
the june 2017 watchtower tells the experience of a bible student who was homeless and unkempt, but improved his appearance after being preached to.. peter began to change.
he bathed, neatlytrimmed his beard, and put on the betterclothes that don offered him.
peter continued to maintain a clean appearance.. so here we see that with a neatly trimmed beard the watchtower's writers view him as having "a clean appearance".
This could be a made up story, although I do know a homeless man that converted. He was love bombed into submission and would have done anything to keep acceptance by the congregation, especially his conductor and the divorced sister who needed a mate.
If the man in this article exists, and if he is vulnerable to love bombing, he might be willing to shave off his beard eventually, and maybe even marry a nutty old maid from the congregation.
i need advisei need advise about lingo of jw community.a publisher is required to report time spent in preaching, and field service.in japan.
we say something like“ put time in report card’how do you say in english language?.
I need to fill out my field service report for February and turn it in to an elder so the elder body and Circuit Overseer can accurately measure my level of faith and spirituality.
below is a paste of the front of this, my recent, essay.
most jws, and lurkers here, have never really thought of the scope of watchtower's 1914 prophecy.
to them, 1914 was a simple one and done -- a mistake was made and it's been corrected.
Nice work. Thanks for helping me clear up some mental confusion. Your statement below struck a chord with me:
"I suspect he even believed the whole thing -- till 1914 came and went."
I wonder if Russell was so completely deluded that it hastened his death when his prophecy did not come true. We all know how in October 1914 he declared the Gentile Times had ended. He was dead by October 1916 at th age of 64. He could have calmed the cognitive dissonance by rationalizing that he forgot to account for the lack of zero year between BC and AD, gaining confidence that he would see the rapture in 1915. He must have been berated countless times for being a false prophet, probably even by people close to him. But he evidently left notes behind for the "The Finished Mystery", claiming to be the Laodicean Mesenger. The mystery is what he was really thinking.
my husband and i had a nice visit with frank toth at grace gough's home.
it was great.
he has written a few things.
Thanks for bringing out this gem for those of us who were not around when it came out. And thanks to Frank Toth and Blondie. I wish I had been awake 5 years ago to thank them then.

Mary was great. She played the model wife in 1960s and the model liberated woman in the 1970s. She was my mothers age and, like flipper her death made me think of my mother.
as in today's study.... 18 to lie is to say something untruthful.
(as in millions now living will never die, this generation will by no means pass away, allegations of pedophile abuse of children in congregations is apostate lies) however, jehovah wants his people to go beyond not telling outright lies.
he urged the ancient israelites: “you should be holy, because i, jehovah your god, am holy.” then he gave examples of being holy.
Yes, WT does sound like they're mocking the masses.
Tepid poultry's comment about the number of times Geoffrey Jackson lied got me thinking. It seemed like he was telling a lie every minute he spoke. He was even lying before he started his testimony, telling his flunkies to tell the RC that he only does translation related work. But by WT definition he told zero lies, because ignorant systemites don't deserve to hear the truth.
Does he care that some his countrymen can go to prison for perjury?
Poopie, as Jeff said, today's text served its purpose of confusing those who try to make sense of the comment. They did a fine job of twisting a nice positive verse.
Romans 12:12 starts off with the words "Rejoice in the hope." But of course they drop these words, and publish the following:
Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer.—Rom. 12:12.
Suppose a beloved relative is disfellowshipped. From your study of the Bible, you know how disfellowshipped ones are to be treated. (1 Cor. 5:11; 2 John 10) Yet, upholding the disfellowshipping decision may at times seem very difficult, even impossible. Can you trust that your heavenly Father will give you the fortitude you need to be resolute in abiding by the Bible’s direction about disfellowshipping? Do you see here an opportunity for you to make your relationship with Jehovah stronger by forming a closer bond with him? Does this suggest that we should not have strong love for our relatives? Of course not! But our strongest love should be for Jehovah. (Matt. 22:37, 38) This is actually in the best interests of our relatives, whether they are presently serving Jehovah or not. And if you are particularly troubled over the course of a disfellowshipped relative, pour out your heart to Jehovah in prayer.
So the point they are trying to make is that you should wallow in your victimhood, since your disfellowshipped family member is bringing you such hardship. You need the shun them and be as cruel as you can about it. Then pray that God forgives you for it.
for any who are interested, rutherford's infamous bomb shelter at "beth-shan" has been officially documented by the city of san diego historical resource board.
they have photographs, plans, and an interview with the couple who built their home on the land (5330 le barron rd).
a pdf of the full report can be found here:.
Thanks for sharing his. Nice reconstruction!
WT tried to sweep this under the rug, and here it is exposed to the light of day.
