I don't know Ken, but from the few facts I have read about him, it appears he is another born-in who has been institutionalized his entire adult life and has never had to make a living in the real world. I wonder if a big part of his decision to start partaking was for job security, since his prospects would be bleak outside the tower. Where else could he get a job writing cult propaganda?

Goodbye my friends.
by StephaneLaliberte infor almost 12 years now, i have been coming to this site on a regular basis and in the last 5, i “faded out”.
i never regretted this and never will.
unfortunately though, yesterday, i realized that, until i can publically tell all my old acquaintances why i have left, i will never be truly free.

Couple of real gems in the WT study for this upcoming weekend
by sir82 insince blondie seems to still be on sabbatical, i'll take the liberty of highlighting a couple of "gems" from this week's upcoming study, from the article "reject worldly thinking".. from paragraph 12:.
is it true that succeeding in a secular career that offers power and prestige leads to lasting happiness?
remember that the craving to control others and the longing to be admired are the desires that enticed satan, but he is angry, not happy.. .

These are indeed gems. Gaffs like gem 1 make me wonder if they are Freudian slips or if the writing department is slipping them in, knowing that the GB doesn't really care what's written.
At the annual meeting, Tony accused the r&f of not reading the magazines, which I took as an admission that he doesn't read them either. I think they each only care that their pet ideas are showcased, like Tony insisting they show wayward young brothers in tight pants, with one even stripping off his pants and hanging them on the wall for all to see. That obviously came from his sick mind and is his hallmark.
The GB members also don't have to suffer through WT studies. They are usually entertained on the weekends at assemblies or real estate dedications. After enjoying lunch hospitality they likely nap during the wt study, so they have the energy for their afternoon performance, likely dreaming of evening hospitality. Their rotund bellies and repetitiveness are the best evidence I can offer for this theory.

by Gorbatchov inthink this night about former and current leadership of jw.org, and the use of multimedia and broadcasting, imaging a theodore jaracks kind of gb member would be chosen again.. is there a way back possibility for jw.org to end all the multimedia circus and a go of the radar for the gb again?.
a one way street?.

The lawyers could perhaps convince the helpers to stage a coup deta. They could explain that the “real” anointed died a long time ago and that the current slave pretenders are living proof that all who currently claim to be anointed are mentally disturbed.

His fixation on tight clothes is one symptom of this creep’s mental illness. How many years has he been harping on this?

BETH-SHAN: Images of Rutherford's Bomb Shelter
by Bloody Hotdogs! infor any who are interested, rutherford's infamous bomb shelter at "beth-shan" has been officially documented by the city of san diego historical resource board.

Rutherford was deluded and narcissistic enough to believe that he was so important that the Japanese would want to bomb his house, yet he did not have enough faith to believe that J would protect him. The bunker stands below this house in a gated community in San Diego as testimony to his folly.

I’m not angry. But I’m sure glad I woke up from my stupor. I started waking up around 2010, then was really surprised by a talk I heard from Tony Morris. Then in 2012 I felt really bad about the apparent PTSD he displayed when talking about his nightmarish experiences in a Vietnam. Then when he gave his tight pants rant at the 2014 Annual Meeting I realized this lunatic is partially behind some of the insanity forced upon the r & f. Now I realize the other 6 are in no better shape really. I feel some pity toward them, but not much. I feel true empathy for those who have suffered some of the more extreme consequences of following terribly flawed men.

On a recent short tour of Warwick, the hostess explained that there are 569 residences adjacent to the offices and another 21 detached residences “in the woods”. I was curious as to who lives “in the woods”, but I did not want to put the pretty young lady on the spot.

I dropped in for a visit last month while on a business trip. I agree it’s Dropoof that it looked like a modern hotel lobby. The sofas are comfortable, and there are drone videos of the property.
The hostesses are all very pretty. The guide for the short group tour I took shared with us that most of the girls working the lobby and museums are commuters. My guide lives nearby and she says she knows Sterling Forest and the abundant wildlife well.
Two highlights for me were the Photo Drama of Creation slides and the display showing how a monk in Spain invented the name Jehovah, or something similar. They show even the craziest slides displaying pyramidology and a red devil with horns and a pointy tail.

Russia is Smart
by Kohanic inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhnseocpffq.
so according to the law department's meeting in feb 2016, russia has been studying the linguistics of the watchtower articles and discovered its brainwashing abilities!.
lol it's funny now that i'm on the russian side of this debate now, ban them all!.
-
Dreamerdude
While I believe that the ban is an extreme reaction, Russian did take some smart steps. It is good they held public hearings. They also chose their two witnesses very wisely, the woman who was shunned for leaving an abusive husband and the man who was denied an education due to wt policy. Publicizing the proof of wt extremism and making sure the Russian cult members were informed would have been more productive than an outright ban. If I could advise the Russian government I would suggest that they not enforce the ban too harshly and that they should use the proceeds of any real estate sales to aid the victims of wt abuses. The site that is being used for music education would help the fictional Sergei from the 2016 convention who was discouraged from developing his violin talent and the use of the Branch auditorium for science presentations are both wise uses of the former cult assets.
