Andi,
Thanks for the tips. I've been thinking about doing this for a long time. I'll let you know if I do anything.
I wish I could hang out with you guys in Texas next weekend. Have fun, and have a beer for me!

Dave,
An artist... and if you dont know my personality that well, how will you know what to draw for me?! Was thinking on my hip, or my tailbone also. Hmmmm. I think you're just being a typical guy! HAha. Helpful, huh? But wait, you rescue kittens? Awwwwwwww.

I had my naval pierced when I separated from my ex-husband four years ago. It was sort of a wild thing for me, a symbol of my moving on and even a bit of rebellion that I'd been stifeling for years. I love having it though.
Andi, do you have a photo of your tattoo? I've been thinking of getting one, and I want it to be symbolic, and I'm trying to figure out what to get. I like the meaning behind yours. Anyone have any websites that they can direct me to with examples of good tattoo art???

just wondering if anyone has an idea of how long the average poster lasts online.
is if 3 months, 6 months, 10 yrs?
related question: why do they eventually leave or stay?
I'm worldly! It's been 12 years out. Been on this website for over a year I think.
I'm a completely worldly person now. And proud of it. Slip, wanna be worldly with me? Haha.

just curious.
are there any out there who are not christians, ie.
born again pagans .
I consider myself at this point in my life agnostic. I dont really attach any meaning behind christmas, other than a nice family tradition. My parents escaped the borg with me, and so our whole family does celebrate. My parents do a tree, and we've started adding ornaments to it each year as adults.
I love the atmosphere and the whole idea of the holiday. But the gift giving can get a little rediculous. I think that christmas is great when there are children around. So I do spoil my little nephew for the holiday. Other than that, it's nice to have a day where you know you'll spend some quality time with the people that you love the most in life.
My holiday cards just say Joy to the World. You can say that and not be a christian .
