Inspired = "God told me what to write"
Spirit Directed = "This is my opinion of what I think God would want me to write, but I may be wrong."
pimo verified this at the latest assembly attended.
check on this forum.
he was giving us attendance and baptism info and this was a side note... it is noted by another that when the question was asked after assembly was over, non seemed to hear the change.

i downloaded the clam thing a couple weeks ago.
now got this message, not the first time either.
can't they even keep doctrine straight for 2 months?
First off - I must say that if we have personal reasons for posting something, who are any of us to judge it as worthy of posting or not.
While most edits are indeed just grammar corrections or basic edits, the point is that many are updated to changes in Wording to stay current with teachings and โnewโ light.
also some quotes when found to be misquoted have been changed. Also pictures change and so do subtle changes to the song lyrics.
With the advent of technology and websites to gather news, We have all seen a decline in proofreading from news sources and others.
But what is significant is that if Jehovah is truly directing or guiding or whatever it is called today, why are these things not caught before publishing.
just my 2 cents,
everyone have a great day! ๐๐ผ๐

so the borg has put up the attendance and baptism figured from the miami and atlanta international conventions.. amazing growth!.
atlanta - 46,374 peak attendance / baptized 314.
0.67% growth.
I think the bottom line is that the baptism amounts are far less than in times past and that is just actual numbers. The percentages are even lower compared to the total JW active publisher count.
many of you have asked about my story, so here it is.
it's a bit long lol.
however i still loved jeremy but because he wasnโt a witness i knew i could never be with him and have my family.
I love the brutally honest story you tell Nikki and the Names really personalize it.I am so sorry you went thru so much trauma. You will find happiness and love again.
convention in lowell mass june 15-17 2018...about 4500 in attendance...11 baptized (0.24%)...believe about 6 of those were kids of current jw's..
Thank you respectful - that is what I was trying to find out. I want to reach out to him as I grew up with his 2 sons and think they could wake up To TTATT
i use this extensively rather than re-inventing the wheel.. paul grundy, the admin, keeps it up-to-date and welcomes any corrections or new information, especially in a well-written article, supported by wt publication quotes.. the 2 places i check first is www.jwfacts.com and then searching on jwn with key word(s) to see if the topic has been already extensively researched or commented on.. don't be frightened away by the material being more than 3 paragraphs.
the quotes from wt publications is are extensive and from publications that are older and less available.
i find it good to read many posts on a single topic and expand my knowledge and sources.. blondie.
JWfacts is the best resources out there for facts about JW. It has remained up because it is truth and they can't legally shut it down as it contains no libel...

Ok SBF I get what you are saying - in the 90โs at our Districts in Columbia, SC there was always over 100 baptized and the leak attendance was in the 8,700 range. So a little higher percentage is all.

And as a side point, Brother Schafer did the baptism talk in Atlanta and introduced the Simplified version of the Baptism Questions where question #2 was changed removing the Spirit Directed Organization part.
