  I think the Big deal is that there is no transparency with anything they do. They just throw out a big number like "We spend over 26 million in relief efforts last year"

  Let us look at these equipment auction from the perspective of someone who saw this happen as an Elder with the Orangeburg, SC assembly Hall Project and Also the Salisbury, NC assembly hall project

  Step 1 - WT announces a need for equipment to help relief efforts (They purchase very little)

  Step 2 - WT receives generous donations of equipment and funds for relief work

  Step 3 - WT Repairs members homes and then victims of disasters sign over their insurance checks

  Step 4 - Instead of keeping the equipment for the next disaster which is bound to occur in this 'time of the end', they sell it for 100% profit

  Step 5 - Hurricane or Flooding occurs and so WT repeats Step 1 - 4

  I don't know about you but if you gave your Kid a Bicycle for their birthday and then they turned around and sold it and then next year they asked for another bicycle, how would you feel about that?

  At the end of the day, just be transparent that's all....be transparent with CSA list of abusers and with the donated funds as to where they are actually going...

  The US Branch has arranged for a liquidation of surplus tools and building materials left over from the hurricane Florence disaster relief work. You are invited to a 1-day private sale for local publishers only on Thursday August 1, 2019. The private sale will be followed by a public sale on Friday and Saturday, August 2-3; then a final auction on Sunday August 4 at 11am where all remaining items will be sold. The hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm; at the Rowan County Fairgrounds, 1560 Julian Rd, Salisbury NC 28146. The GPS coordinates are 35.628119, -80.4835856.

  Only local publishers and their families are invited to the private sale. You may pass along this invitation to the brothers and sisters in your congregation who may not have email access. A few non-witness buyers may be invited by the sales team. The large building at the fairgrounds will be filled with hand tools, power tools, construction equipment, kitchen equipment, electronics, furniture, building materials and more.   a sister in the congregation is planning to divorce her husband who is also a witness so she can marry a different brother in the same hall!

  The problem is that you can't just get a Divorce due to irreconcilable differences. (According to JW Rules)

  So to be honest most people do not go looking for another person unless they are terribly unhappy at home.

  Instead of doing the proper thing and pursuing a legal divorce and then going on to another relationship in the future, the JW world calls you an Adulterer regardless of the legal divorce.

  JW`s Claim Their religion is Based Solely on The Bible.

  well here are a few words that the watchtower / jw`s religion frequently use that do not appear in the bible , either , old testament or the new testament.. organization , sovereignty , reinstatement , governing body .. and in the christian greek scriptures ,the kingdom interlinear that the jw`s published themselves , a word for word translation of the greek to english does not contain the name / word jehovah ......nowhere ..

  on april 15, 2019, total of 18 jehovah's witnesses in china were arrested and charged with indictable offences relating to, "using an evil religion organization" to "incite the obstruction of law enforcement," and one charge relating to, "obstructing law enforcement by organizing and using an evil religious organization.".

  I wish no ill will towards anyone, this is sad, and the only ones to be mad at IMHO are the GB who live in the Sterling Forest Resort while those gullible and uneducated (Such as these perhaps) are facing the wrath of the governments...

  They will not put this on the JW.borg website as this would acknowledge they are doing proselytizing in China.

  Also of note is the recent release of the Book by Amber S. detailing how things work in JW land china...
