mountains are great we all used to go to Salisbury NC and it had very comfortable seats and a dining area. I worked on that construction project as a teenager in the mid 90’s and now we go to Orangeburg in the middle of nowhere and very uncomfortable seating and you eat at your seat. I know out of the 2,250 in attendance I could not possibly be the only PIMO.

The interesting thing is that we carried a deficit from the last assembly in December of over $5k.
You can hear the collective WTF from the audience when the accounts report is read.
I used to work in the Accounting department at the circuit and we always covered the amount due, however, back then in the 2000’s the mandatory Tithe was far less as the circuit assemblies were 2 day events for $15k.
the beautiful thing is that my dad is waking up to this particular area of the Borg.

that’s a $10 per person head count - again not really that much money .... but it’s a 2-3 hour drive one way for most of circuit. And some have to stay one night in hotel so a family of four can easily exceed 2-3 hundred bucks for a one day event.
again maybe not a huge deal.
what is a big deal is the lack of transparency - don’t lie about the costs / that’s the bottom line...

if all the Assembly halls are doing this and it was specifically said this is for the USA and not other country’s then I smell a lie and this is for lawsuits as there isn’t a drop of construction going on in the USA.

/ 100 per hall = 2,500 new congregations needed / 3 per KH = 833 New Buildings but lets say 1,000 for good measure.
We know NEW halls are not being added in the 1st world countries so costs must be a minimum.
I remember a video in the early 2000's indicating they could build a new hall for 10,000 but lets say 25,000 for good measure.
2.5 Million a year to build needed KH - Seems very light compared to money rolling in...
