  I'm new....

  hi, i'm a little bit nervous posting something in here.....this is the firts time.....i was just wondering what "good" or "bad" things you have to say about jw.

  i have been a jw all my life and my husband too.

  right now i'm in the process of getting out... or fading away....i'm not attending the meetings anymore.

  He was in our territory and everyone I would work with in that territory would say oh we can't go to that house that is Peter Barnes house the evil apostate. He is filled with demons. That is all I have ever heard about him. One day though I remember going to one of his neighbors houses and they told us we know all we need to know about you people from Peter Barnes.

  What is your job/career? Like it?

  i'm a deskside support guy working for a service company, at one of their contracts.

  i enjoy fixing things, although some of the customers could use a good knock on the skull sometimes.. i make pretty decent money for what i am doing.. for me, it's what i've wanted to do my whole life.

  i had a computer from the time i was born, and love it since then.. what do you guys do to bring home the bacon?.

  I am a Bookkeeper at a CPA firm. I specialize in gas stations. I love and hate my job. Love the work hate the long hours especially during tax season.

  More JW guys date 'Worldly' girls than....

  ...than jw girls do 'worldly' guys?

  you would think so from the posts here.. how many posts have we seen here about jw guys who are dating non-jw chicks undercover (no pun)?

  or is it just that jw girls are likely to be living at home and less likely to have a chance to date a worldly guy, because of the tight grip that jw parents have over their girls?.

  I just thought of one since I have been out quite awhile the song that sums it for me is The Dance by Garth Brookes I could have stayed in and not had the pain of my family cutting me off but I would have missed the dance. I would have missed out on all of my wonderful experiences and the Joy I have in life now. I am so glad I didn't miss the dance.

  Fe203girl I forgot about that song. I was like 18 when that CD came out and I would play that song over and over again because that was how I felt to be a JW.

  the package has arrived !!!!!!!!!!!.

  thank you so much, i am really looking foreward to tucking in to all the wonderful things you sent to me.. i arrived back at noon yesterday (15th) from taking my kittens to the vets (for snipping) and as i got out of the car, i was called by an across the road neighbor telling me she had taken in a package that had been delivered while i was out.. i was so exited as i crossed the road to collect it.

  i am now planning on turning one day into a party day ( my son in law is so nuts on anything american i may have to nail up the front door lol ).

  Apple Pie

  i really, really dislike making apple pie.

  after two or three of those things, my kitchen looks like a warzone, my hands are greasy, my clothes covered in smears of butter and melted sugar.

  i really dislike making them.
