  Believer, thanks for responding to my request. Seems to me that by your comments, you didn't get the point of the video. When you talk about god it seems you are still speaking about the bible god as if that's the only one that exists.

  i left the watchtower organization almost 20 years ago but never abandoned my faith and belief in god.

  i knew the gb/organization didn’t represent god, so when i lost my faith in them, i managed to keep my faith in an all wise benevolent creator.

  The Dear Believer I shared early on has again been ignored by believers. I think it really lays out the problem. I'm sure all believers on here believe in the Bible God. I just wonder how many of you have taken time to check out where that god came from.

  Myself, I'm not going to say there wasn't someone or something that started it, but I will say this. I am absolutely sure it was not the Bible god.

  Believer, can you give me a search phrase to all those books you speak of? I haven't been able to find anything but things I would consider biased.

They don’t seem to understand that man is different for a reason. We start as animals, but that is only the beginning of the journey of life. They are choosing to get off the ride before they even get to the first turn.

  I disagree, man is not different. Humans may be advanced, but in the end they all die just like the animals. Any belief beyond that has never been proved and IMO is just a fantasy. I realize some need that to get through life, but many of us don't. I suggest you have the "god gene". You have that need and will do anything to fulfill it.

  Believer, I want to respond to my question about being a convert or a born in. A majority of born in's when they figure out the"truth about the truth", are very skeptical and atheism is what results. Converts on the other hand revert back to their previous belief system.

  You haven't looked far enough. There are dozens, maybe even hundreds.

  i know how crazy it sounds but i got to tell you, this article about the governing body finally admitting the "faithful slave" was not divinely appointed by jesus in 1919 was epic to me.

  The big deal in 13 was that the GB alone took over the role of the FD&S excluding the rest of the remnant.
