by cappytan insince the move, it has been so enjoyable to not have jw's breathing down our necks asking why we didn't make the meeting, or having to pretend to be "spiritual" in front of family all the time.. 90% of my week is virtually stress free.
then, my mom calls or texts wanting to talk to her grandkids.
every dang call, she asks about the new congregation, if we went to the meeting, etc.. why can't i tell her to fk off?

My Mom Is Dying

During any event that involved dancing an elder would run around the dance floor with a six inch ruler and make sure that anyone single was at least that far away from their dance partner.

coincidently, one of the elders was the assistant congregation servant in a different kh and congregation which i grew up in.
therefore, we knew one another well.

What is the most strange action of a witness while out in field service?
by adjusted knowledge ini was paired with this older "brother" when i was a teenager.
he was very very strange.

Wife met a woman at the door who agreed to a bible study, but could not at her home at that moment.
They agreed to meet at the Kingdom Hall just a few blocks away from the woman's home in 30 minutes.
The woman showed up at the K.H. 30 minutes later as agreed, they sit down on a bench outside and begin talking.... it was late morning and many other car groups were returning to the K.H.
About 60 seconds into their discussion the woman goes into a full blown holy spirit infused rant... yelling at the top of her voice... on how the JW were all wrong all the while waving her bible in the air.
It was funny as hell to see the elders rush the returning publishers into the hall away from this demon possessed woman while at the same time try to get her to leave the property.
