we are told that the governing body is the group through which god speaks to the human race.

we have also been told by that governing body that mysticism is of the devil.

it's evilwickedmeanbadandnasty.. so exactly how, then, does the gb get this information from god?.

In fact as the world was concerned, you were some wacko who was one of those Jehovahs, who didn’t celebrate christmas, who didn’t take blood transfusions , and never sought prominence. No prominence would just call to the masses exactly what is going on and we dont want any one to know this do we.

The Governing Body of Jehovahs Witnesses are such Godfathers, and it is all legal.

its been noted by some who study mystiscm and spirit that when you give your self to an org..... or become part of a "tribe"...the tribe protects you from having to think for yourself and have enough selfesteem to say..I am as good as the next fellow, and what ever God has given them I have too.

too many times(and the JWS are a fine example) when one joins a new tribe......... they just give away far too much of themselves and their energy and find that is not just a part of them but their exsitance is predicated on it..........

I cant say all the answers known to men are in me, but I do beleive that we all have the opportunity to develop without organization a realtionship with the higher power.

If I am to give my energy to anything or any one..I ll give back to the one who gave to me... he will judge me and guide me......

organized religion is as TR states....such a snare....it is a shield or badge to too many people...yet there is only one divine power.......

I ll take the sign of the curtain being rent in two , as an indication that its not needed.....and keep up the daily communication from the higher self of me to the higher power.....

What sort of accountability?

i was just wondering what the thoughts were as to what sort of accoutability the average witness bears for their actions?.

how much can be blamed on the mind control of a cult, especially when many of us regret how we behaved with what we knew then compared to how we act with what we know now?.

what sort of actions can be excused and what cannot?

once the organization is joined...personal responsiblity ceases....imperfection is used as a catcahll weapon and no one person doing soemthing wrong can be identified with the organization........

its just so peachy........

when you give your thougth process over to an organization and they demand your energy that you need to live with....you cease..

may this not happen to anyone anywhere ever AGAIN!

do you believe in reincarnation?.

i dont think i believe in it in the same way that most believers do, which is that we keep coming back in different fleshly bodies until we have achieved perfection.. i do, however, strongly suspect that we may well be spirit creatures who find it necessary to inhabit a fleshly body from time to time, and that this entails us having to leave behind most of our past memories.. i say most memories, because many people seem to have some vestigal recollections that don`t seem to fit in with earthly experiences.. i`m pretty sure that i chose my parents!

i have a recollection of being shown a young and kind couple through some form of astral telescope and choosing to become their son.

the best part of engaging the spirit and putting the body on the back burner is that you need not be Physically present to share your spirit with someone.......

Was there evil before Adam sinned?

this question is specifically asked of jw-apologists, but anyone's response is greatly appreciated.. is all evil in the world the result of humankind's sin?.

the watchtower teaches that the earth is old (in agreement with science), but that humankind is young (6,000 years as of 1975).

since they wish to have an old earth however, it is necessary to say that each day of creation is longer than an actual day- various figures are given i believe.. i believe i am correct in saying that the logical conclusion must be that animals existed for a long time prior to the events in the garden of eden and the sinning of human beings.

I find this creation of man and existance of him and the sin on hell of a story.......

but evil must have existed before.....Adam & Eve

in Isaiah 14:12-14 ..it talks about "ORIGNIAL SIN"

and the person responsible for it.........he werent human tho.........but still he was perfect...........which of course shoots the whole livingin paradise theory for the JWS

if perfection in the spirit existed once, and in the flesh as well and it did not work out.......... what evidence is there it ever will or would........

I I magine Lucifer must have felt a bit slighted by God when he created man to OVERSEE the earth........as it was his(lucifers) place to dwell and oversee...........
