why do jws fear getting 'priveleges' revoked?

from what i understand these privilages aren't much of a privilage!.

We had a hydrolic mast at my last hall. I was so used to each brothers hight, I could set the Mic just right before he even got onto the stage.... kinda sad now that i think about it

anyone got any good information as to why dubs dont like beards?

in 18 years, i have yet to understand why.

i remembered seeing an old episode of one of the formentioned shows in the subject.

Ran sound for a year man, im 18 now. All the guys in my hall that ran Mic's and Sound were under 20. They never had a problem, till me and most of the other guys doin stuff moved to another hall. OH WELL! :)

I was just reading the "I think I did it!" thread by freeman, and started thinking about shunning and such. I remembered seeing an old episode of one of the formentioned shows in the Subject. In the episode there was a man who commited some sort of crime,I think extortion. Anyway, he was given this device on his forehead that he was to wear for a period of time (It was by a judges sentencing). When his sentence was up, the device was removed. The point of the device however, was a sign to everyone around him, that he was "invisible". He was not to be talked to, looked at, or have any association with anyone, what-so-ever. To enforce this, there were these hovering robots that monitored his movements and encounters with people. If he commited any more crimes or communicated with anyone, more time was added to his sentencing and any persons caught talking to him was sentenced too. At one point he tried to get this woman to talk to him and she just gave him a sad look and walked away. Anyway, at the end of his time, the device was removed and he ,after vitually going crazy, was a perfect little crowney for society again. As he stood outside on the street, smiling, that same woman walked up to him, only she had a device on her head this time. She tried to get him to remember her and to talk to her. She started to cry and begged him to please talk to her. He just looked away, and got a sad look himself. Suddenly those robots appeared and he looked at them, and then the woman. He picked her up off her knees and said that everything was ok and that he saw her and that she wasnt invisible. The robots started going crazy... and the show ended...

At the time I was a junior dub crowney(like 15) and my bro was d'fd. I made it a point not to talk to him and try to ignore him when I had too. I started to cry and realized that shunning him was wrong, he was my brother and I loved him. Not only that but that shunning d'fd people in general was just wrong. To this day I still ask the d'fd ones that I know, how they are doing and etc when I see them. If I get in trouble for it, so be it. Looking for a way out without any excuses :). (I know i should just fade away, but Im on a low income and work with and live around witnesses. So its gonna take time)
