I could listen to whatever I wanted as long as there wasn't too much profanity.

i saw it last weekend and loved it..... and for those that dont care for adam sandler (as i dont like all his flicks-couldnt stand billy madison or the waterboy)---- this in my opinion is up there with big daddy and my personal favorite of his---happy gilmore.. did anyone else see it and did you like it?.

What is a JW childhood like?

i was wondering what it is like to experience childhood in the org.

i am an aspiring writer ad the org has always interested me...not in the sense that i'd like to join.

please send me some replies.

Sheltered.

We can only have JW friends which can at times leave a child with very few options.

We can not celebrate holidays or birthdays or thanksgiving or christmas, etc; which leaves a child feeling left out.

If we don't follow JW rules to the T we think we'll be destroyed which leaves us with constant guilt.

Being a JW child is not cool in the least.

Who Here Believes in God?

personally, i do not believe god ever has or ever will exist.

i have my reasons -- i guess i could be considered an agnostic, rather than an athiest.

i was curious to see what the larger part of the former borg community believed, now looking from the outside in, rather than the opposite.

On some days I'm absolutely sure there is a god and on others I'm sure there isn't one. I guess that makes me agnostic.
