  assuming they give you a real picture of themselves and are honest about themselves.. is it possible to love this person before you meet them?

  we all know the bible's view on capital punishment.

  in fact, in the 1969 edition of aid to bible understanding, the author notes the following: .

  "the value of life is considered so sacred by god that the blood of a murdered person is viewed by him as defiling the earth and such defilement can be cleansed only by shedding the blood of the murdered.

  Amazing and Naeblis-

  Now that DNA testing is available false convictions are in fact rare. I'm not talking about people that were convicted 15 years ago. I'm speaking about recent indictments. These investigations are very thorough.

  I'm all for capital punishment. I think if you take a life (unless it's an accident) then you should give yours in return. I also think that in the case of a peron killed during a DUI, that that person should be put down also.

  I also realize that the big argument is "what if we kill an innocent person"? Well, our justice system is thorough and if that does happen, it's rare.

  All I know is that if someone rapes and kills my child I want them dead. Many murderers are out in 7 years!!! That is inexcusable!

  jehovah's witnesses proclaim the good news of the kingdom under the power of god's holy spirit.

  jesus commanded his followers to preach in the most distant parts of the earth and promised them that the spirit of god would guide them in this life-saving work (acts 1:8).. without the spirit of god, one cannot continue preaching about jesus and god's kingdom (matthew 24:14).

  one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.

  I tend to agree with D8ta on this whole thing. This comforter guy sprouted up right around the time that Non was kicked out. He does resorted to the same things as that Non guy. For example he likes getting really technical about stupid crap while avoiding any issues with substance. Also, he's always trying to prove how smart he is. Who cares if he's smart? I don't. His whole purpose it to see how many people take the bait and argue with him, and every single time we satisfy him by making 10 pages worth of responses. Why can't we stop ourselves???

  Well comforter I will give you the dictionary definition of associate and YOU tell ME that you aren't associating with me:

  1. A person who joins with others in some activity (Aren't we involved in the same activity? That is writing back and forth on JWD?)

  2. To connect in the mind or imagination (I wouldn't say that I exactly connect with you in mind but in a sense we are. You are sharing your opnions and I am sharing mine)

  3. To spend time socially; keep company (I suppose that in this instance you would disagree with what "socially" means. But you are in a sense keeping me company by responding to me through means of this forum)

  4. To connect or place together in thought (We are placing our thoughts together in the same place, correct?)

  5. Connected by habit or sympathy (We have both been pretty habitual about posting although we are both fairly new)

  So can you still say that you aren't associating with me? And most importantly would the elders think so?
