I think ESPN is going bonkers with this. If this gentleman was a Southerner, named after the General they might have a point; but this broadcaster is oriental and the name Lee is very common among Chinese, Korean and other people from that part of the world.

Imagine what is going to happen with all the Washingtons, Lincolns and so no that we have in our part of the world.

Not to smart to be fighting wars of 200 years ago and ignoring the ones that we have today.

history reveals that in the beginning the wt was just a publishing house, selling books and magazines; over the years it evolved into what it is today..

the placement of the original publications was mostly done thru sales people masquerading as preachers.

In third world counties the reduced literature cost was the only way to get regular pioneers, very few people could afford the out of pocket expenses of the full time service.

For the special pioneers this was gravy, they had their monthly allowance, their end of year bonus and depending on the location plenty of help from the locals. The majority of them were pretty well set up; most of them wanted to stay as special pioneers and not go into the circuit work.

What is funny it that after the Swaggart episode the production of publications slowed down and now is practically gone. At the same time, going door to door is not as important as it was before.

Looks like in effect we were selling.

that's what i've been told by a family member (elder) who went to one of the regional conventions in the north of the u.k lately, who told me the 300 or more disfellowshipped who returned to jehovah by attending show that the end is so close, just like the final talk says..
