talespin so we could smoke a few fat ones together while taste testing the new line of Doritos Frito Lay is working on. Talespin could head out with me to check out a possible venture dealing with those "Mary Jane" Vending Machines in Colorado and Washington. Talespin, that's who would be fun to smoke the power-hitter with!

2+2=5 cited this fact about the shrinking amount of elders. Perhaps the coming implosion?
by wha happened? inat the last elders school i heard from a few different attendees that the average age was easily 60+.
there will be a lot of elders gone within the next 10yrs.
there is nowhere near enough young brothers to replace these ageing elders.

goober and goofus elders "Jehovah will reward you elders with extra days of eternal life in the New System". When can we send goofus and goober back to Bethel, so they can help the Governing Body solve the "overlapping generation" and "new faithful slave" doctrines?

Target annouced they were going to aggressivly go after Walmart, the bunghole super store. Walmart has fought against health care for it's employees since old Sammy kicked the bucket. A Walmart Health Plan should carry a $10,000 deductible. 80% of the cost of the prescriptions with a mark-up of 100%, until you hit the $8,000 mark, and than it's 75% of cost on all drugs after that. Walmart covers up to $800 for Chemotherapy and $2000 for Quad ByPass. A deal with Walmarts $300 a month health premiums, Walmart will offer a discount on all medications made in China.

Who read "Faith On The March" here? I read the book, last time I looked on Ebay it was $500.00 a copy. A.H. appeared to be more human than our Governing Body, the infallibile men of NY.

London111 your example is too simple for the phD scholars with time on their hands to formulate various ideas of the nature of Christ. Did Athanasius teach followers of Christ could become of the same substance as the Father, becoming close to the Father's very nature?

Phizzy "mores the pity" was new to me; I learned a new idiom.
"For the WT offering a post that is frankly s**t, unless you love power and prestige within a weird group, and for NO pay, it is a slim hope they will get many takers, and those that do must be suspected of wrong motive or being mentally unstable, usually both."
It's true, every word you said! Preachers in Christendom have the gift of individuality and preaching a sermon with possible modern day wisdom. Once in a while a "eighty-eight year old" would give a talk at one of the former Halls I attended. The poor brother was lost in time, "I miss the good old days when we used a adding machine to count, now those evil type writers have taken over." Where did they find this guy who was not qualified to give talks? He drifted from subject to subject, "don't you love Jehovah's people, look at the colored couple in the front row!" ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! The old brothers were scary, some still stuck in the 1940s and 1950s using old doctrine.
Fencing: A brother was deleted from his position of elder a year ago and his wife is angry at him. She is really pissed off she lost her prize and claim to fame. I thought the brother was going to have a nervous break-down, to his wife she could care less. She only thinks about her title and what the other women in the Kingdom Hall think about, her family's health and his health are inconsequential.
Whose idea is it to call the elders and say "My wife performed oral sex on my zinger, so please tell her to stop that!" or "We both were curious and tried anal sex", why do people call elders with this information? I was sick of hearing people confess to the most petty bedroom acts, why oh why tell us?
Flyin High: I would disagree, most teenagers are running from "holding the microphones", "doing sound" and decline invitations to become M&S "Masochistic Sadist", Servants are tired of playing the role of the naughty slave.

Two years of meetings have passed since visiting the Kingdom Hall. "The best way to get Jehovah's Holy Spirit is to join us in Field Service next week, let's say 9:30 AM?" Two years of being mia with meeting attendance and field service is going to cure it? How, how in any world of religion would preaching a message about something I was uncomfortable about, help me regain my composure?

My last visiting contact with dubs was a visit telling me "I need to get over myself and make arrangements for field service with the brother who stold from me". Nothing was said about all the years of service, just "I need to get off my ass and get out in preaching Jehovah's name" "You are wasting your talents and Jesus will call you into accounting of them!" and more warm words of advice "please, you speak three or five languages, you could help the foriegn field in a giant way, be apart of the solution and stop thinking about yourself. I can see how unhappy you are with your angry attitude sulking at home."
I was not sulking at home, they showed up without telling me they were coming to my house. I was taking twenty units that quarter and missing meetings because I found nothing of value with it. Why cram down someone's throat something I don't believe is 100 percent Truth? I stopped attending meetings Flipper when I saw a very bad elder and watchtower society deccession hurt innocent people, they worried about destroying aposates and keeping horrible people in their crib. peace upon you flipper.

Anybody else kinda intrigued about Oprah interviewing Lance Armstrong?
by Theocratic Sedition ini'm a bit excited about this to be honest with you.
i'm not even remotely a cycling fan, but all this controversy made it a bit difficult to simply ignore.
i'm curious to see how he does when those questions come at him full force.

I am intrigued about Lance because I rode 100 miles (23 mph ave)four times a week with my Trek carbon fiber bike. What does that have to do with anything? Road Riders loved Lance because he was the poster child for endurance, overcoming our greatest fears and "Winning!".
Greg Lemond once said "The only way Lance could hit that time during one of the "Tour de France" "time trials" was if he was using performance drugs. Mr. Lemond was asked by a contributor to ESPN and Bicycle Magazine, "Mr. Lemond, your "time trial during this part of the Tour de France was faster than Mr. Armstrongs, were "blood doping" or using enhancement drugs?" Mr. Lemond was caught in his own web and lied his way out by saying "I am clean, I am clean". You said "Nobody could beat that time unless they were on drugs, yet you beat that time with ease, your guilty by your own words!"
The biggest antagonist of Lance has been sour sack Greg Lemond who was jealous of Lance and never stopped accusing him day and night. I don't like Greg Lemond, he is not cool.
