A couple of other detaills:

They feel like smoking MJ would open ourselves spiritism.

They feel that when we smoke it, we cant control the amount,

so we are very likely to get nigh off of it. And you should not be using recreationally, just medically. is rec time a certian time of the day?

I wonder if I should explain to them the 3 different levels of being high.

Also a more bible trained conscience will not allow themselves to smoke pot and med marijuana patients should ween themselves off and will need to confess their errors to the elders for in order to regain gods holy spirit.

I would say No to being in ruins. But my approach to life needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I think it all depends on your attitude and your draw of cards concerning family members. My non-witness family can do as much damage as my non witness family. Ive been teaching myself to think a different way then what Ive been conditioned to think. There is some destruction, but if you take the right steps and not go down the wrong path, a new life can a joy.

we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.

fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.

i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.

JW's think what sets them apart is that they have love a mong their people. Sounds like your starting point with her is to bring out why JW's arent all that loving and they really arent all that happy of a people. I think this is what my husband noticed right off the bat. There are no actions to back up the claims the society has made. People are phony and now he sees that. And I think she does too.

Someone close to me told me that its up to me whether or not I think its the truth, But in order to make the correct decision, I needed to do some homework. Months later my mind was blown and here I am now

Service on holidays= unannounced visitors

its thanksgiving- that means all those who went out in service today come over to harrass those who are "spiritually weak".. 2 car groups have already stopped by, plus they said the co is going to stop by this afternoon.... they first off, dont call before they stop by and then they bring the whole car group in.. i have gotten texts from witnesses hoping to see me at meeting tonight since the co is in town.. why dont they just do some door-to-door?

if you dont want to do that on a holiday, dont go out in service!.

dont come and bug me because you dont want to knock on doors of "wordly" people.. witnesses feel they have the right to intrude in your life at anytime.

Not a nice thing to do.. Agreed.. If someone threw water on me, Id be pissed, but I probably wouldnt go out in service on a holiday EVER AGAIN. Learning a lesson the hard way.

Would it make it any better if it were warm water?

(Keep in mind I am a sarcastic person, dont take things I say as literal)

Jam that is awesome you get to play golf in NOVEMBER! I live in the Pacific Northwest, therefore most and all outdoor sports are postponed until May.

I wonder how often the witnesses get scolded for buggin people on holidays. Can I throw cold water on them when they come to the door without going to jail. Is that considered assault?

Hi Winston-

I posted to this thread over a month ago, expressing frustration and needing help with my spouse. Today, we had a lovely chat where he expressed that MAYBE there might be some merrit to my claims. Oh joyous day when the walls start crumbling. When he mentioned and acknowledged the false predictions, he says I am looking at it negetively. The U.N NGO- Im being negetive and not looking at both sides of the story. He thinks I am "willing" the society to be wrong. I am ok with this because I know him starting this conversation is HUGE. I even asked him his thoughts on the new light. I think it helped that I told him about this new light and doctrine changes before anyone else around us talked about it. When I first mentioned it he did not believe, says Im making things up. Oh! how he was quiet when others started discussing these new revelations. Something that we did want to chat about is how the bible and jesus set the example for the society and their pyramid of power. I told him that the word governing body is never even mention in the bible, only the nwt. His reply was that the orginal wording was elders. Well my dear, do you think that the JW are the only religion with order and organization. No response. Maybe you have some thoughts on this topic
