Good Reasons To Hate Every Weak And Ex-Jehovah Witness.
by AuntConnie in1. my husband's time is finite, it's wasted on spouses arguing over money, sex or family mattters with stupid home visits.. .
i hate people's constant open hand for money, it's the weak individuals asking others to pull their weight.
my family worked extra hours instead of begging the strong members for district assembly money, cat food for seven cats or tiny little rag-a-muffins weiner dogs.. .

Hola!
Ive been here for about 2 months now. I first started to question things in july after moving in with my MIL. The things she would say and do really made me start to wonder...(she would start moaning and gaging when there was anything about gays on TV). Then I started noticing how others in the field service would come and visit her and do the same thing. These things really really bothered me, I am very liberal and I believe in equal rights, I then remembered something my faded aunt told me. She said if you have the truth, it will stand up to any research you do. She then said one thing," Did you know the elders have a secret book nobody is suppose to know about?" With those words in my head I googled watchtower society lies; jwfacts came up and my world was tipped upside down. I was so lost, I needed to know the truth, and since JW's obviously didnt have the truth I needed to find out the REAL truth. I am a medical marijuana patient, so I got super super high and just delved into my own head. I analyzed myself, my beliefs, and who I am. I thought about all religions and beliefs, did serious research into all of them to find which one a relate with. I actually debunked many religions. So then I needed to figure out who I am. I spent my whole life trying to be someone I am not. Its now time for me to be MYSELF. i stopped going out in field service and I only go to meeting when my MIL forces me to, but I go to a movie instead. I figured out my life has been a waste so i enrolled in a tech college. It was my first day today and I loved it. My husband and I are working on moving out of MIL and out of county. We will then be able to fade completely. But for now this is the only place I am able to express myself freely. People who arent familiar with the JW's cant understand what I went through. The JW's that I did confide in stabbed me in the back. My husband does not want to hear anything neg about the WTS. He says I look at it in a negetive way. He wont go to meetings or go out in service either, so Im not gonna bitch too much. So this is my release and I want to say thank you to every member, because without this forum Im not sure where I would be mentally. So thank you guys very much

Did you ever have any real weirdos ? in your congregation who were Elders ?
by smiddy in.....some of the things he did and got away with , to me now is unbeleivable , and maybe to you.. in all fairness he was well versed in the bible and very clever how he used it to put a critic to rest at the doors and in one instance when i was witnessing with him , he demoralised a pastor of his church .and i was impressed at that time.. but he had some strange ways , he was always looking for someone to break gods laws so to speak .he did set himself up as the policeman for enforcing gods law on the congregations .
( this is my description ) he was known to stand outside bros/sis.
homes to see if he could find something incriminating against them .

First off- my in-laws are the weirdos
2nd:
A couple in the hall that lives down the street from us will stare out their windows at us. My hubby and I go for walks/run, when we get to their house I can see them, husband wife and daughter peering out the same window at us. On the way there and the way back. These same people come up to me after I get my hair colored and cut and tell me "Im not sure if I like your hair" Ok, since strawberry blonde is soo outrageous. They then proceed to admonish me for convinving a hotel manager to give me a room at a hotel that was on the WT list but they didnt have anymore left. We got a suite for the same price as the other dubs. They were just jealous. Same couple- I go out in service with them and the wife is telling me about how they are having some people over for a bible game night, but she doesnt want to invite hardly anyone in the hall because of the labels she has put on them (users, spiritually week, no children) So after she is done talking trash about everyone she realized it was rude to talk about a get together in front of me, so she invites us. We get there and there is a shitload of magic mushroom statues and knick knacks. These people will also go by our house and notice we werent home on a sunday and werent at meeting, so the next time we saw them they would ask us where we were because our car was gone. They wanted to know what was so important that we couldnt miss meetings. So self rightous they feel they can call others out, even though there is no proof. we must be sinners because they see us out running on a meeting day, but we dont go to the meeting.

Too old for an IPAD!
by Honeybucket inmy elderly(72) grandmother told my auntie that she has to get an ipad and a ipod.
my granny can barely check her email, im not sure what she thinks shes going to be doing with these apple products.
she said she needs them for the field service.... my faded aunt says if it will make her pretty and popular in the hall, cost is no matter.

She is forgetful. She doesnt have glasses anymore because she lazered her eyes, she has all of her teeth and she doesnt have hearings, but I think she should invest in some. My granny has always been with it, but recently its become more noticeable that she is aging. She cant hear as well, she seems to kind of go in circles mentally and physically. Her age is catching up to her.
What Happened- Thats what Im saying, little old ladies will drop it or forget it and then there goes their 500.00 bucks. and knowing my granny, she wont even cancel the wireless package that you need to have. for instance, she is still paying on a aircard she got for my computer when I lived with her, and that was about 3 years ago. She said she cant figure out how to cancel it so she just keeps paying the 50.00 a month for it. My grannys cell is under my aunts plan and she pays for her moms cell too. My faded aunt said no because they are poor and cant afford to be paying 250.00 month for a iphone and ipad service so she can keep up with the Jones. It will cost her too much. ITS JUST ALL SUPERFICIAL!
OZ- Yep, my granny was always able to outwork me and 28. Her age is starting to show now though, Its time she slows it down a bit. She doesnt recover like she used to.

I totally agree with you, it will help her learn her computer better and learning is great ESPECIALLY for older ones. BUT, my granny is one of those people that gets a cool neat toy, she then has someone come over and help you figure it out. But its not that easy, because she wants to know Why... Why do you have to go to this place to get here, so what seems like a simple thing to us is extremely complicated to her. She has to take notes and buy books to explain them. THEN she never gets around to reading these books, so she now has an ipad she will use a couple of times and them not use it ever again because she cant figure it out. When she got her computer many people tried to help. We set it up for her, gave her demos and told her how to run her cleaners and antiviruses. Her computer is soo riddled with bugs that I dont even open her emails. She has no idea how to run these programs even though we have written out step by step instructions.
What is killing me is this elderly old lady is going to spend nearly 1000.00 just to fit in.
