QR codes: a way to stop APOSTATES !!!
by raymond frantz ininteresting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.
1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .
2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!

What would be the point of serving god now in a bullshit religion if there is no reward at the end of the rainbow. If god said to me.."you suffer for 80 years with this messed up organization, I will give you life forever and you can live however you want" then Id be down ( not really). So, why would someone put themselves through this agony and abuse to not be rewarded in some way. You can live a super great 80 years being happy with no reward or you can live a lie for 80 years and not be happy but there is no reward...just sayin

About six months ago I deactivated my Facebook account. I got tired of witnesses reading my posts, taking it the wrong way, and then going to the elders about it. And they share it with others in the Hall. Now I know the rule about not posting things you dont want others to know about. But here's the thing; I didn't share anything incriminating or inproper. They are just nosy people..right?..right
A couple nights ago I decided to reactivate my account so I can share my wonderful life and accomplishments with those I love. For more privacy and an attempt to cut off association with the dubs, I deleted all the witnesses. I then post a pic of me and my husband. lots of people hit like and make comments. then I notice that witnesses are making comments and liking my pic. WTF? I deleted them..how are they seeing my info? my page is set to private, and even if it wasn't, that would mean they searched me out. I don't think these people would look for my page.
Does anyone know how I can get them to not see my posts and delete them for good. I don't want to block them, I just dont want to be their friend anymore.

@ dream golfer
Hate to burst your bubble but "springfield" from the Simpsons is actually based on the Oregon springfield where the creator of The Simpson's grew up.
This has been revealed not too long. FUN FACTS!

elders wife swapping question
by unstopableravens ini hear of these stories of elders swapping wives, i remember when i was young hearing of three elders in florida doing this and getting dfed.
my question is this how is it possible to bring this up in conversation?
it seems impossible, how can there be multi elders that know each other willing and the wives?

An older sister told me in her previous hall during the 80's there was wifeswapping severe drunkness and perhap drug usage. Soon after there was a CO visit and he disbanned the hall, saying the it has AIDS and closing the hall will be the cure. Everyone involved, according to the seester, about 75% of the hall was involved and thats why they closed it.
Im not completely convinced of this story. Women love to gossip and play the telephone game, this rumor probably started as something not so sinister, then the orginal rumor elvolves into urban legend

reinstatement tries
by Honeybucket ini am looking for the reinstatement guidelines for someone who has been actively trying to get reinstated for 2 years and have put in a reinstatement letter 3x in those two years but was denied everytime.
are the elders just making an example of them, have they permenately been kicked out, or maybe these people dont want to come back and this story is part of their fade.. .
has anyone ever heard of people not getting reinstated.

My friend was the congregations golden girl. Pioneer, wealthy, educated, generous, beautiful. One of those people that just has it all. The man she married was married to a physchopath woman that he divorced before the two were together. Im really not sure on alot of details because this happened in another state. Her and her family had a winter home and a summer home thousands of miles apart. I am basically trying to piece together the story by what the family tells me. When she did get DF'd she drove up here to tell me, she didnt give me a much details. Neither of them were ever DF'd or reproved or marked for that matter before this.
Like someone mentioned in another thread, sometimes it just takes a good emotional ass-kicking to see the light. I want to believe this is what happened. One of the reasons why I think this is because she told her mom that if after the 3rd try she isnt going to reapply. Her mom also told me that she will never come back to this area. She will come to visit her parents and to have meetings at her companys headquarters. But anything other then that is not gonna happen. Her family hasnt cut off all association with her either. They talk to her on a weekly basis, and they had elder permission too. So whats the point in getting reinstated when a. she can still talk to family b. she's on the road so no elders nagging her c. husband is also df'd, so no shunning from him
