dateline correspondent john larson talked to former and current jehovahs witnesses who say that church elders protected the alleged molesters and kept secrets that might have put children at risk.

by moman inif you believe that paul was inspired then you can't believe the watchtower follows jehovah's way.. the apostle paul wrote.

2co5:7. if paul is correct, why would true christians need "gods visual organization on earth", the answer can only be, drum roll please..... because the watchtower has no faith!

Paul was imperfect. In the early part of the Gospels, and even later on, he made mistakes. He got overzealous with excommunicating, for example, and later admitted that he had to back down. The scripture in Acts on blood is a mistake, as well, because at that time they really did not appreciate how the WHOLE scope of Christianity is simple and the GB back then did not want and/or was unwilling to dispense with certain teachings.
"As we all well know, there are mistakes in the Bible."
That doesn't mean there weren't moments where he did have the holy spirit and applied true Christianity. However, it means that one should not take every Bible passage as infallible. They were men on a learning curve, just like the rest of us.
If one sticks strictly to the SIMPLE Gospel of Christ, and read less into the apostles' teachings, and of the Old Testament too, one should do pretty well, IMHO.

Truth, according to the WTS, is only to be dispensed to those who are "entitled to know." Supposedly, Jehovah, the "God who CANNOT LIE", is approving this.

DATELINE May Be Pre-Empted or Rescheduled!
by Mister Biggs inthere will be an nba playoff game on nbc at 9:00 pm est.. this means that dateline will either be pre-empted or shown at 8:00 pm est.. according to my tv guide that i received in the mail yesterday, it is scheduled to come on at 10:00 pm est.. that would mean that it will be pre-empted.. however, tvguide.com shows dateline being scheduled to air at 8:00 pm est.. that would mean that it would air as scheduled.. so, since friday's (may 24) dateline will be the last show until tuesday (sunday's is pre-empted) they should announce at the end of the show what will be coming up for tuesday the 28th.. let's keep an eye on this.. the only thing definite is that it will not air at 10:00 pm est (for all you vcr-heads) on may 28.. my apologies, of course, if someone has already addressed this.

I think the blame should be placed on Shaq and Kobe Bryants' shoulders! If Shaq weren't such a complacent bum, and Kobe would stop eating bad cheeseburgers and eat a real athlete's diet, the Lakers would have sacked Sac-town in four games, rendering a Tuesday night fifth game unnecessary. As Jim Rome would say, run 'em!
Anyways, checked my TV Guide for Southern Ontario, and lo and behold, Dateline has reversed itself by 2 hours into the 8:00 time slot with the game on at 9. So Mr. Leslie Nielsen Biggs' theory is holding out. Friday's bumper show should be interesting, too.

God is Jesus
by evangelist ini am looking for more scriptures that can prove to a jehovah witness that god is jesus, and jesus is god.i found only one verse so far in 1jo:5:20: and we know that the son of god is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son jesus christ.
this is the true god, and eternal life.. if you know more scriptures that say directly that god is jesus please tell me the verses the jhw will see plainly that jesus is no way an angel, and he is jehovah god almighty.. my friend said if i can prove by the bible only that jesus is god he will leave the jhw society, and he will know that they are teaching lies and they would be to him a dogma religious sect.
my friend gave me a booklet called should you believe in the trinity?, and is jesus christ the almighty god.

i want to thank you for giving the silent lambs a voice.. i doubt this will bring the wt to it's knees, but it will make the public aware of the wt policy on molestation, and maybe, just maybe, it will make them change that policy, and in doing so, will protect many other children from having to live through what so many others have in the past.. from the bottom of my heart........thank you.
