  Will Jehovah...

  when jehovah brings armageddon, will he let me live long enough to witness the deaths of my children and grand children because they didn't believe in him?

  .

  since i've faded and i don't promote worshiping him anymore, i am just wondering.. at least i'd know for sure what kind of god he is?.

  Just make it a matter of prayer. If you sincerely ask God for the chance to witness you progeny get killed, I am sure he will accomodate. He is a loving father.

  Young JW's attitudes

  i met an old friend last evening, a great guy, an xjw for longer than me.. during a conversation about our experiences since fading (neither of us are da'd or anything) we got to talking about the young jw's.. his wife is still in, and he has two lovely daughters who he is trying to teach the art of critical thinking so that they can make the right choice in the future.. what worries him though is that he is convinced almost all young jw's do not give a "proverbial" if it is the truth or not, they simply wish to remain in it because of the social aspects, loads of friends and activities that they feel safe partaking in etc etc.. so how do you convince these young people that they would have a better life if they left ?.

  they see it as losing all their friends, and being alone and trying to build new relationships, which is mostly true.. how do we convince them to make the leap ?.

  should they ?.

  I agree that many young ones see the biggest advantage of being a JW as the social network. While they may not be as theocratically motivated and lack the enthusiasm for their own doctrine as the overlapping generation of JWs who came before, today's young ones are every bit as mentally trapped in the cult as those that passed on the baton of craziness.

  In saying that, I think the WT is doomed and the current 15-30 year olds will be waking up in droves in the coming decades.

  i don't believe in 1914 and i'm tototally against their way of dealing with abuse cases.

  Also I strongly recommend anyone to learn about the Jesuits and the control they have on various levelse of our lives, including education and what we are purposely being kept away from. Like a lot of biblical evidence that we are restricted from and when someone takes an individual decision to study these places, some mainstream archeologists (oddly enough connected to some secret society) comes out and ridicules that "lowly" "inexperienced" "ignorant" archeologist or scientist. Just saying because our lives are in peril whether you belive in God or not. These demon possessed people do not care and we are all going to get it. But that's another subject
  

  So much for just staying on topic, huh?

  It does sound like a fascinating subject though, maybe start another thread entitled, "The demon possessed Jesuists, will anyone survive"....or something along those lines.

  Changes & Clarifications on our belief. DOMINO EFFECT blamed for late coming into print

  in the august broadcast bro splane explains this point deeper.. when the brothers are sitting together and joyfully speaking about clarification of jw belief, they often encounter and deal with that "domino-effect" when one scripture has effects on others.

  so all changes are carefully considered before they come into print, one after the other but late.. lately he mentions the "godfathers" brother jaracz , barr as good examples of reading the bible progressivly, they were very progressive at there time.

  what ever this could mean he did not explain it?.

  This is so 1984 this propaganda. Trying to spin changes in teachings, back-pedalling and doctrinal flip flops as something awesome and spiritual to be admired.

  He is basically bragging about old GB members like Jaracz and Barr, how they just loved changing their minds and thinking up new ideas, always careful not to start a domino effect on the bullshit theology they have thought up and have it all come crashing down.

  Are we supposed to be impressed by this? Are not Jah and Jesus apparently running the show??

  It seems this Jehovah guy can get absolutely nothing right the first time.

  Also I have no clue where you get the idea that there is no evidence of a worldwide flood
