My Guitar, My Friend

one of my interests is music and i play an acoustic guitar.. i wrote a poem about my guitar and thought i'd share it with you.

my poem doesn't match up to some of compound complex's work however, i'd really appreciate any feedback you can give.. my guitar my friend.

I have my own recording studio. I can listen to any song and sit down and play the drums right after listening to the song

Holy shit!! I had no idea you were this good. I would love to be able to do that.

I am sure however you were speaking out of your arse, and in fact you couldn't come close to covering anything remotely similar to what is in "any song".

Calling it a gross exaggeration wouldn't really cover it, that's why I chose even stronger language.....full of shit. It's a bullshit frenzy.

Try these few songs off the top of my head.

Led Zeppelin - Good times, Bad times.

Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother.

If these are too easy, there are many more songs that require more advanced technique. I just like these two artists and these songs are a supreme demonstration of thier superb musicianship.

It's an art form that you've clearly shown you have absolutley no appreciation for.

Remember..... Only one listen, and no cheating on the Bonham cover, he used a single kick I expect the same from you.

Did the flood happen?

so we were talking about noah for our family worship tonight and it ended with a little debate between me and my parents about how the flood was possible.

you know, where did the water come from, how did all the animals fit, etc.

of course it led nowhere and my parents came up with some strange theories like that there was "an expanse of water in the sky" and that's where all the water came from.

This was necessary because the earth was full of demons, demons that started a race of half supernatural being-half human style people.

I have to say you haven't spent much time in the trenches. Or in fact you are a drummer. One who hangs out with musicians.

Not very long 'in the trenches'. Just long enough to hear that drummer joke 5000+ times. Thankfully I have a job.

You don't have 3 or 4 drummers and 3 or 4 bass players at the same gig. You have a rolodex of musicians who can fill in. You only have 1 drummer and one bass player at a show.
I have never been in a successful money making band that only had 1 drummer.

So.... Not so much a band, more a solo project with some hired help with a view of making some money.

IMO, if your bass player and drummer are consistently not showing up, you are in a shit band.... That's the whole point of the band.

Since the Beatles have been around, there have been countless bands who have had kept the same members, and had great success. If you gauge music quality on the ability turn artistic expression into $$.... We could list some of the great rhythm sections we have had in rock music since the Beatles...... that would take some time.

guess what I am saying is of all the people that hang out with musicians. Drummers are the least reliable for various reasons.

Thats a good one! Lol! Hangs out with musicians...... Did you hear about the drummer who finished highschool????? Tell me about it!!!

And you need to have a number of them in your rolodex if you want your band to be known as a dependable band that doesn't cancel gigs.

Once again, I am not sure you are making a point other than you have never played with a reliable drummer, the kind that makes a dependable and stable band.

there are some i would consider a 'maybe', but no way of ever really knowing.. so here is my idea.

It's slightly off topic, but in the ballpark as it has to do with Jesus and children.

Imagine the suffering of children on a global scale.... to shocking for us to comprehend. Jesus is a witness to it all, chooses to do nothing.

My child has a severe disability, he attended a large school full of special needs children. I'm talking make your eyes weep special.

A mother of a 14 year old girl, from my sons school, committed suicide some months ago. This woman couldn't cope anymore, many parents and carers in these situations don't. Jesus sees all this, does nothing.

I cannot stress this enough. Fuck Jesus. Fuck that fictional mother fucker all the way to hell.

If you have a band you got to have 3 or 4 drummers and 3 or 4 bass players

That's one hell of band. I have drummed in many bands as the solo drummer, usually with one bass player, never two, and never another drummer except for maybe a little percussion added here or there by the guy with little to do, often the guy on keys or another guitarist. Nearly all the bands I listen to have one drummer and one bass player.

Life comes from existing life. That fact has been proved by science.
Life spontaneously generates from non-living compounds, organic or inorganic. That fact has not been proved by science. It's an unproven theory. Although a gram stain of faeces is a zoo of bacteria and yeasts, these did not spontaneously generate. They were there in your gut and in the gut of animals to start off with. It is passed on to you by your mother.

I understand now. I'm finally getting it!

every time i see photos of new jw parents cuddling up to their new babies.. every time i see people giving the parents new baby cards & gifts.. every time i see them having fun with their children.. i think to myself; 'you would shun your kids' .

if they don't end up being jw's.

if they simply publicly declare that they don't believe.

Now we all have heard how the universe is composed of matter and space. And we always here of how it had a beginning. But really what could have begun it? I'm so over just doing what most scientist do, that is blaming it on dust and gravity. If you insist these two inanimate forces accounted for the universe and the eventual forming of the earth itself, then what caused them to form and hover? Chemists have been searching for the true cause of the universe and some have agreed that the cause it out of the natural realm. Heck, they have also said that the universe looks designed to a large extent.
The universe's nature is so sequential in making life and any small change in any of these clearly set patterns would destroy life easily. Is the presence of the universe just a matter of a fluke, physical urgency, or even observational phenomena? Is it all really by a freak accident where if just one little thing was different then nothing would exist? All the answers that frequent the minds of scientists and the like strongly fails to give a precise explanation. But if there was a divine being or entity such as God who had a plan and direction, the universe and the earth wouldn't be as perplexing as it is.

Boring.

knows full well it's all bullshit but loves the power.. stephen lett - mentally ill, fantasist, liar who genuinely believes the lies he tells.. samuel hird - deluded, likely actually believes he actually is anointed by god.

It's impossible to watch Stephen Lett on any broadcast, and not be distracted by his annoyance.

It's been said before but putting these guys on show was a mistake. I am confident that Lett alone, waving his arms, goofing with his eyes and stupid mouth when he addresses his audience like special-ed preschoolers, he could have helped hundreds of people learn TTATT.

Morris will be the kind to take charge of a splinter group if this shit falls apart while he is still at the helm. Even if he had only a congregation of followers, he would take it, he's the sickest of he bunch.
