it seems to me that no one ever talks about jesus' money box, sometimes referred to as the poor box.
all we know is that it was a box, and it had money, and judas iscariot kept it (and apparently stole from it).
was it donations made to jesus?
Early Christians looked after the least well off amongst them, like widows and orphans. Philip was in charge of distributing food etc to them! Right?. James in his book regarded it as "pure religion" pure motive, I guess ! Israel was condemned for not looking after same amongst other things ;)

That's your opinion, and you are entitled to it, and yes that is the whole point, JWs can have access to ALL points of view.
Case in point, Cofty justifies this topic being in "Watchtower Society, Beliefs, Doctrines and Practices " based on *** Creationism is a Watchtower doctrine**** but insists that there should be no comments at all on creationism !!! Get the contradiction ?

some people recently raised concerns about security of the site relating to whether forum members could be watchtower plants trying to obtain information about people.
apparently, this was because a previous forum that was setup was either owned by or later handed over to someone who used it to collect personal information about people which was then used to harrass them.
i don't know all the details, i'm just paraphrasing what i've heard and recognize that it's a concern to some people.. i want to first of all put people's minds at rest: i've been running this site for what will be 13 years next month.
I don't believe that most of those who nit pick people's comments, use foul language, and purposely demean a person on this forum are Watchtowers agents, however they have the same effect..."They Disrupt and Hijack" some go Scot-free, pun intended !
