Is the Trinitarian view point correct based on this passage-Titus 2:13?
by I_love_Jeff intitus 2:13- "while we wait for the blessed hope-the appearing of the glory of our great god and savior, jesus christ, " .
the part in question lies at the end of the passage "...of our great god and savior, jesus christ,".
*granville sharp's rule-when you have two nouns, which are not proper names (such as cephas, or paul, or timothy), which are describing a person, and the two nouns are connected by the word "and," and the first noun has the article ("the") while the second does not, *both nouns are referring to the same person.. this, as far as i know, has been an ongoing argument among trinitarians and non trinitarians for a very long time.

The searcher *** I always thought that the Athanasian Creed stated that "the three are co-equal and co-eternal".
Have I got that wrong - that they are simply of the same "nature", as the angels would be also?*****
Angles were created, different stuff not Divine nature. Hebrews 1:1-14, 1 John 1:1-3, Revelation 20:10
The divine nature of the Godhead, co-eternal = yes, co-equal= not too sure about that.
it's a From, Through, by the Power of, order, indeed that's what the Kingdomof God means.....caught up into that Divine Nature Kingdom. Colossians 1:15, 2 Peter 1:3-4

JW have been thought that the isogesis theology of the Bibical "Trinity" is "Modalism" !
It's all to do with the NATURE of God, the same "STUFF" exists in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our universe And ALL creation (different stuff) is FROM the FATHER, THROUGH the Son, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, in whom both Father and Son can be present. Whereas Modalism is ONE person, manifesting in different forms.
A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing !

Several Sites Are Down
by Juan Viejo2 inin case you have noticed, several websites that are managed and administered by me are down.
at this moment i do not know specifically why, but my hosting company (secureserver.net) tells me only that it is due to a "copyright infringement.
" i do not even know which of the 30 some sites might actually have the claimed infringement and so far all i've been told is that there is a claim and that i have to email a certain group and they will get back to me.. i have no idea when these sites will come back on line.

This generation will by now means pass away..."
by Jewel ini haven't been to a meeting (other than some cousins' weddings) for well over twenty years.
i've always wondered what the fds was going to do with the "generations" thing once pretty much everybody who had been alive in 1914 is gone.
i get that they've come up with some "new light" about this topic, but when i ask my mom (who's still in) i only get "well, the new understanding is complicated...".

The generation that Jesus talked about ended at the destruction of Jerusalem, approximately 37 years after his assension.
There is no "generation" parallel in the final judgement of the gentile world, as Jesus comes to seperate the wheat and weeds like a thief in the night, in contrast to the judgement on fleshly Israel with all the signs as specified in Matthew 24:1-35, when the early church was resurrected and ruptured. Revelation 20:1-6, 7:1-8, 14:1-5. In MHO.

Edenone *****Jeremiah 25:29... However it is translated in the most convenientway that the Hebrew text allows*******
Exactly, most convenient for the WBTS in their EISEGESIS in trepation , after all if they can't prove their 607-1914 chronology to be correct they have no foundation to base their authority as THE ONLY CHANNEL that was approved to do the seperation work of the wheat and weeds, and just makes them another sincere religion at best and a false prophet at worst.

Edenone ***** Can you please enlighten me how the WTS uses this passage as proof that the '70 years' have begun*****
My comments and reference to in depth website devoted to 607 @ JW UK website as follows:
Just look at how JWs twist scripture to prove their false take on The 70 years.
Look how they interpret Jeremiah 25:29......from this JW web site -------> http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk/607/70yearsofservitude.html
Yes, the nations certainly will drink Jehovah’s rage. They have no choice. After all, if his own people going to drink of it, the nations certainly will. However, when will he make his own people drink of this cup? Jehovah makes it quite clear when, saying:
“For, look! it is upon the city upon which my name is called that I am starting off in bringing calamity, and should you yourselves in any way go free of punishment ? You will not go free of punishment, for there is a sword that I am calling against all the inhabitants of the earth,' is the utterance of Jehovah of armies.””
The answer to our original question, 'Does the servitude begin when Jerusalem is destroyed?' has been right here all along – in the very same chapter where the 70 years of servitude is mentioned. After stating that Judah will become a devastated land, and that the nations will serve Babylon for 70 years, did you notice that the starting point of the 70 years is directly pinpointed?
Jehovah is “starting off” with “the city [upon] which my name is called”, that city, of course, being Jerusalem. Only when that city meets calamity will the 70 years for all the nations begin. It does not say the calamity starts upon the countryside of Judah, as some claim. Nor does not say it begins with a mere exile. It starts off in the city of Jerusalem, and it is “a sword that I am sending among you.”
The calamity of Jerusalem is the “starting” point, and from that point onward the nations will not remain “free of punishment”. For sure, “Jerusalem” will drink the cup first, but all the other nations must drink the cup and serve the King of Babylon too. Can it get any clearer than this?
What does this mean? It means 587 cannot be the date of Jerusalem’s destruction. As you know, 587 to 537 is only 50 years. On the other hand, 607 to 537 is exactly 70 years.
Lets look at the following translations of Jeremiah 25:29 that show how they twist scripture. Can anyone back up a comment from a Greek or Hebrew translation ??? ?
New International Version (©1984)
See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword upon all who live on the earth, declares the LORD Almighty.'New Living Translation (©2007)
I have begun to punish Jerusalem, the city that bears my name. Now should I let you go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, have spoken!'English Standard Version (©2001)
For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the LORD of hosts.’ -

Edenone **** I also came to realization that the NWT is a competent translation on the Hebrew Scriptures,******
Just recently I had a question on how the WBTS rendered Jeremiah 25:29, to prove the "start" of the 70 years for "everything" .....
Whats your opinion on the translation of this verse ?
