  Can the jw organization be reformed?

  i know that this has been discussed in the past but i wanted to get some fresh opinions.

  there are many out there that recognize the "rot" that is in watchtower but still feel that there is a "wholesome" side to it and are trying to bring about change or reform from within.. in 2002 when the rose colored glasses came off for me and i truly started to understand ttatt, i still felt that there was some redemable aspects of the organization.. i felt that russell had some doctrinal things right.

  i don't feel like that anymore.

  LaFrancia... do you know what the problem is? The organisation you are trying to protect sees YOU as a cancer since you are not following their doctrine and rules. Reforming is useless unless you want to become a religious leader yourself and be part of the sickness of the society

  The can reorganize whatever they want... but it would not make a difference at the end. The reason some want to reform is because they believe there are a lot of specks of truth in it... too bad that they are most probably wrong.

  an average of five kingdom halls being constructed daily, almost 8 million brothers and sisters, dissemination of bible literature in 595 languages, 111,795 congregations worldwide, distribution of 179 million bibles available in 116 languages, 239 countries where jehovah's witnesses have a presence, etc.. need i go on?.

  on the other hand........... crisis of conscience, freeminds, the awaa, jw.net, ummmmmm........hmmm........idk six screens or something?

  I actually want to try to give a intelligent answer to anunintelligent question:

  The reason why sites like these will not "succeed" is because they are for helping people getting out of a cult. That process takes some time but most people will move on with their lives after their helpsessions on sites like these are over. They actually get a life! That is why they do not care about creating a fake situation with fake brothers and fake sisters. It is sad to see that the amount of cult captives is getting larger and larger.

  why using a tablet at the platform during the meeting?

  i can't understand why the governing body aka fds has to deside about using a tablet by the speaker at the platform.. why using a tablet anyway at the platform?.

  just a toy to keep the youth inside the congregation.. gorby.

  Was Richard Carrier a Jehovah's Witness?

  i was watching this lecture of him (very nice actually) and he was referring a lot of the bible.

  now he used a bible version with jehovah's name in it and used it quite a lot.

  i was therefore wandering: was he a witness at some point (around 6.20)?.

  Jesus sacrifice and animal sacrifice contradiction

  romans 3:25 says that jesus sacrifice was applied to the past for sins forgives.. then why god request animals sacrifice like "shadow of the good things to come" (hebrews 10:1) if the jesus sacrifice forgive sins to the past.. the animal blood not have none value, because jesus sacrifice was applied to the past.. why sacrificies for forgive of sins was requested by god if romans 3:25 says that jesus forgive the sins to the past?..

  What people want is not always what they get. I want to live after death... but I do not know if it is there and what it will be. We can not see beyond the portals of Hades now can we. Same with Job. Hey may have wished to come back and expressed this feeling. Does it mean it is a prophecy?

  after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.

  thank you for all the kindness and many interesting discussions over the years.

  Hmmm... this has kept me busy before I went to sleep. I do not understand and yet I do:

  I do not understand how someone wants to return to JW's since they are proved to be a scam

  I do understand because being out of it may create a vacuum. staying in too long may cause some serious trauma's.

  All I can say is: Slimboyfat, I hope you will fare well and will be happy one day.

  If it is a troll then I want to say that it is not a funny one ;)
