Not true DeWanderlaar..... just another Watchtower lie from the pits of hell. We are different than the animals. We alone were made in the image of an eternal God. Our soul is eternal and will exist in one state or another for eternity. To be separated from God is to be separated from every conceivable notion of good and love, since God is good and is Love.

WTS does not teach we are not different so that statement is not true. The image and eternal part of your reason is based on a book that is written by other men (bible, koran etc). These things are not proof and no claim that you make can be backed up from our part of the spectrum.

Also... I was talking about theism... I do not deny that there probably is a God... I am just saying that if he is there he does not have part on anything that is happening or will not prevent things to happen to us. If we look from a universal point of view it does not matter that humans are being annihilated and the planet is being destroyed. We (earth) are just one tiny spot in a very big universe... do you really think that of ALL these small little marbles in that very very very big universe this earth gets all the attention and especially the even smaller inhabitants? The idea is stupendous and outragious if you come to think of it...

I think you should not need to bring a lawsuit to the watchtower itself but to the elders. Something like: "if you ever mention my name from the platform and tell people I am disfellowshipped I will hunt your asses with lawsuits. I know all of you personally, I know where you guys live and I take this as a personal attack."

I know that a lot of elders do not care that much anyways... it is much easier for them to let someone suddenly leave the organisation and never showing their faces again they will do no harm (like it is the case with me).

Who says that if a God exists he is looking after such small little creatures like us? That is a vision people have. That is what theists think: since there MUST be a creator (we can not give proof he does or does not exist so it is still an assumption) he MUST have had a cause for us... a purpose. Who says we ever had a purpose? Simply because we are looking for a purpose it should be so?

What do we "add" to anything? To the "universe" or to the smalles atomical levels? We add nothing special. We are just a species... dominant yes (unless you live in india and got your ass killed by a hungry tiger...).

And yes... there is structure... but there is also chaos... and chaos is also part of a "structure". Does it mean that a God would even likes to be busy with such small things that are keeping us busy? That he really cares what kind of people are getting which part of a land? We are actually not much different from all other species: we want a place to live and have a terratorium and want to defend and/or expand. We have "leaders" but so do other species. And yes... we talk... more intelligent then others and we have the ability to reason. But who says some other creatures can't reason? I mean: noone ever invented a computer which can actually translate the "language" of other species.

We think we know everything and can figure it all out... how far can we actually be from the painfull truth: we are just species... we live... we sleep, eat, drink, have sex and after a period of time we die. Game over...

i noticed in the bible reading in titus this week that that they changed one instance of christ jesus to jesus christ.

it made me wonder why it was done and what benefit it could have in their doctrines..

There were around 30-40 gospels... 4 made it into a book... the others were conscidered bullshit and too bizarre it could never ever be true... why did the other 4 (of which 2 are mostly identical) conscidered true? ...

If I was an old apostate and alone... and my family would not talk to me... I would make a new will and would only let them have a letter with a middle finger drawing and the text: jehovah will provide for you so you won't get a penny from me... That would give some of them a good time :P

Contradictory Timelines - Do they REALLY think we are this stupid?

so in today's wt, as brought out in another thread, it is the nations that make the declaration of "peace and security.

" yet just a few paragraphs later they claim, in answer to their own question of who declares "peace and security", that the bible doesn't say.. in the very next paragraph they say that angels are holding back the destructive winds of the great tribulation.

to answer their next question as to what those angels are waiting for they say the wait is for the "annointed" to receive their second sealing, referring to a 2007 q/r which says the second sealing is finished only when the "annointed" (including the gb) are in heaven.
