<P>I was in catagory 2.</P> <P> ;</P> <P>I was never thin or ;pretty enough. I didn't make enough money and had all the wrong jobs. I didn't prosper in the field ministry. My clothes were always wrong. My friends were always bad associations (yet they were pioneers). I didn't get married as soon as I turned 18 and that was wrong. I wanted to get married and that was wrong. I didn't donate enough money, yet I ate only once a week so that I could donate money to the borg. I went to a public school untill I was 16 and was lectured for that also. I had a dream of going to med school, being a pediatrician...helping children, that, of course, was way wrong. I finally did marry at the ripe old age of nearly 20, but that was wrong too (wrong guy, wrong time, wrong place). Then the shit really hit the fan when I got pregnant with my first child. Then, as if it couldn't get any worse, I got pregnant again when my son was 4 months old and the elders had themselves a good ol' time with that one. MMM....makes me wonder what went down when the elders got my letter?? ; I was living in another state and didn't get to see everyone's reaction. Hehe...I gave no reasons. Just said I didn't want to be a part of it anymore. Would have loved to have been a mind reader then. </P>

Printer Advice
by sweetone2377 into all of out there thinking of using that refill, do it yourself kit for your printer's ink cart.....don't do it!!!
we've have done this and are now experiencing a problem.
they neglect to tell you that your cartridge heads (or whatever you call them) wear out well before you can use all ink you have in the kit.. .

I'm telling you....this is the worst thing that i personally have ever done (or rather my dh). We fill the thing nearly everday. It leaks like a sieve as long as you're not printing. Try to print and nothing....the paper comes out as blank as before it went through. Stop printing....leaks again. This is the first time i've had to refill or replace my ink cartridge since I bought my printer. And I print *alot*. By the next day the friggin thing is empty and I've still not been able to print a single page. Been doing this for 3 days now. Getting pissed.
Ignore me. I'm just frustrated.

ANOINTED Jehovah Witness has no doubt,
by lotus inhello, i am new to this website, but have to be straightforward and say that i do not agree with most subjects and contents.
i am an active jehovah witness, but i am very lonely so i am looking for others with the "hope" or to speak to those that know someone that does.
it has been a long , hard road for me.

I would say most cannot simply just walk away and never think about it again.
Especially when simply walking away isnt' simple. When walking away means that you no longer have a family, that any friends you've had are gone, that any life that you've known is gone. Personally, I lost my devout JW mother, my younger sister and have another sister that I've not been able to be apart of her growing up. Not because I chose that, but because they chose an organization instead of a compromise. They chose a bunch of men around a table, instead of family.
There are many who are in the same boat as me, and many far worse off then me, because of these men and their "laws". If you truely feel that God has selected you and made you special above all of us, then do something good with it. Make changes for the better of all men and women, not just the ones who agree with your organization. If you can't use that "specialness" for good, then why have it at all?

Most Frightening Door to Door Experience

going from door to door one day when we reached one particular house.. the householder became so agitated by the presence of jws.
that he "sicked" his dog on us, but thank god it had a muzzle.

Kingdom Melodies
by Dawn ini was just listening to my new nicole c. mullen cd (she rocks!!
) and i had this thought...... i really enjoy christian rock music now, but i had never listened to it as a jw because i wasn't allowed.
so instead i listened to that every uplifting ac/dc, metalica, scorpions (still favorites of mine).. the society did release the "kingdom melodies" on tape though and everyone bought the complete set.....did anyone here ever really enjoy that music?

I catch myself humming and it will turn into a Kingdom melody sometimes. I used them for piano recitals. After being away from a piano for many years (once I really started getting good, my mother burned ours and i haven't been able to afford one since), the only song that I can play without music (like if i'm at someone's house and they have a piano) is song #15 I think it is, Life everlasting at last, or something or other.
Weird.
I remember that new one that came out like in 96 or 97 or somewhere around then. It actually had members of the GB singing the lyrics, so that we could all learn to sing in tune. Hey, what did they expect from a bunch of ametuers?! We were too busy highlighting the almight watchtower and beating down people's doors to practice. Besides, to get in tune would require lessons, and who had money for that after paying the WTS every month?

Passing water at assemblies.............
by ISP inthe mens toilets were generally ok, never got to see the sisters.......but the sisters had to queue!!!

Our Assembly Hall, completed in 1997 I believe, had more toilet facilities for men than for women. At the DCs we used a "worldly" facility. I also ignored the advice that was spewing from the podium during every talk about not walking around during the actual assembly. I took my chance and went and peed during nearly every talk. That way, come lunch time, I could do whatever I wanted instead of spending the whole time in line.

I don't know if it's just really late or what, but this made me laugh so hard.
