I love lights on a tree ,so I put about 600 to 800 lights on...lol and its only a 6 foot tree.

being a jehovah witness, did you feel obliged to have a 4 door car?

once i bought a 2 door car, and everyone was looking at me as if i commited a crime.

i then reasoned with them saying, "didn't jesus send his deciples by groups of 2?".

I remember hearing people talk about having two doors and four doors in cars.I payed no attetion to that stuff.When I reading the stories here,it sounds so pathic.I can recall this one family had to buy a new car and it was a two door,they apoligized to me because they had a two door.I looked at them and told them,I don't care....I really didn't pay attention at the meetings.Perhaps that was a good thing.

i don't think i will never join another organized religion.

that being said however, i have enjoyed going on occasion to non-denominational churches, watching the band play music, and the speaker.

if you did or would attend another church regularly, which one would you go to and why?

I feel our body is the temple to worship God with...we don't need a church or a KH to be Christ like.It would be nice to socialize with other believers,but I don't have any desire to be part of an organized religion.I really donot feel Jesus was sent to make religion,he was sent to die for us and spread God's Kingdom....

NT vs. OT

i've been wondering why so many bibles don't contain both the ot and the nt, why some only have the nt?

why do some churches/ministers only teach from the nt and disregard the ot, when even jesus quoted the ot?

from what i've been reading in various posts about scriptures in daniel pointing towards things yet to happen (unless i misunderstood the post)it would appear that continuing to use and teach from the ot and the nt should continue.

The Watchtower Plot Against Us

the watchtower organisation has been guilty of major coverups and blatant lies.. it does not want ex jws telling others what they know.. does it ever occur to you that the watchtower have people who post on this board, gathering information about us?

they could use it against us at any time....they could keep a record of what we say on our posts and establish who we really are.. e.g.

people who i hardly ever speak to on this board suddenly seem to know details about me.

I can see some of them trying to do that...but I DA mayself 10 yrs ago and I couldn't care less what they thought about me.They seem to think they still have some sort of control over..xjw's ....lol
